Our building had no heat or hot water for a couple of days. The boiler broke down. This portable shower worked like a charm. While it does not heat up the water, I was able to boil the water and combine it with cold to a comfortable temperature. It has pretty easy settings. I was a little skeptical but hoped that this would solve the family camping hygiene requirements. It's much better than I expected. The water pressure is comparable to your strong kitchen sink sprayer. Which means this item is going to work double duty both for washing dishes and taking showers. Combine it with a stock pot you can heat over your fire and you'll be more than adequate. I've only tested it out at home so far so we will see how the battery life is on the first trip but right now my initial impression is very good. Read more

Ok, Let me tell you we had no ability to shower for a couple weeks at my house. The pipes under my house went Psycho and it was a mess. No hot water!!! It took a bit before it was fixed. The sinks we could still use. Now let me tell ya I have had to improvise in my life many times. I'm ok with that. Others in my household complained etc. Drama Queens!!! So I started looking at ways to get by and found this. Purchased for affordable price. We had 5 gallon buckets that we were filling up putting in the shower and used this to get clean. Gathering it was cold but hey cold water is actually good for you. If anyone wanted warm then they could use the stove to heat water. It got us by and I was grateful. Easy to use. Pressure was good. Awful!! My husband just tried it last Friday night in the shower to see how it works and the thing caught on FIRE!! Thank goodness it happened in the bathroom and he used the shower hose to put it out. Brand new! Never used and it’s crap…. Past the return date so we’re stuck with this.
