Well manufactured, great book! Read more
This is the only book I truly believe made my son comfortable and allowed him to finally decide to poop in the toilet. Prior to reading this book, I had others specific to toilet training & the focus was directly on him. I do believe the concept of the dragon and an actual storyline that distracted from my son being the primary focus translated different in the journey. Finally, about 2 weeks after reading it every other night (per his request, as well!), he ended up pooping on the potty and was so proud of himself. Highly recommend this book for those on the potty training journey. Read more
My son (3.5) and I keep this and a few other potty books in the bathroom for him. I love the dragon and so does my son! Cute story. There is a request by the author for the reader to leave Amazon reviews. I was somewhat surprised by that. I can understand where one might want to put that in a book but it's not my favorite thing about this story. Read more
I only purchased this book and the one on teaching your Dragon to accept “no.” but I really like the authors approach. I think it’s very thoughtfully written, and very helpful for the child, not to mention the adult who is trying to convey an important lesson. This particular book is not for the parent to learn how to potty train a child, but it is definitely something that would make the child understand WHY they’ve got to go through the trouble of learning to use a toilet, something that some children aren’t so predisposed to enjoying. THE PLUSH ANIMAL THAT IS DESIGNED TO GO WITH THE SERIES IS JUST ADORABLE. Read more
It’s cute, it’s adorable, it’s one of a long series! Read more
Drags a bit. Think the story could be a bit more into what it is to potty etc. but my 3 yr old was introduced to it at daycare and loves it so... Read more
This book was so good and so fitting for my son. My 3 year old was 80% potty trained but refused to do #2 on the potty. I decided to buy this book to try to help him and while waiting for it we finally got him to go, but it was a battle. After this book arrived he became less reluctant about the potty. I can't recommend this book enough if you have a reluctant child on going potty. Read more
