LOVE this!! Its the 4th potty chair i have purchased from amazon. The other ladder one i have has the bear face on the back of the ladder and it is NOT sturdy for oblong toilet seat. It moves all over. My toilets are a new modern toilet so they are also high, and this fits. It will probably fit other toilet seats too (round, etc) but idk. Im sure someone else has commented on that. The legs are not adjustable for height, so i was concerned that it wouldn't be tall enough but it fits. I think the shorter the toilet, the farther the ladder will come out, so it should fit all heights. I also love the width of the step. its big and easy for my little one to maneuver and get herself up on it with no issues. Super quick and easy to put together. Took me 5 minutes. The other bear one took me 35 min and it was annoying. Last thing i love is the low profile front anti spray area to block pee. Its built into the seat and low profile so my daughter isn't hurting herself on it. Not sure how this would affect a boy (i dont have any boys) so something to keep in mind. Love love love!!! Im ordering another for the bathroom downstairs right now! Thank you!!!!! finally found a great product, it makes my life so much easier. I got the blue/purple ladder and the colors are exactly as shown in the pictures Read more
It’s great! He is 2yo and 2ft y’all. The best setting for him is the lowest step. He can get up and down w/o assistance. I found it easier to have him pull his pants down before he steps up there and he steps down then pulls his pants up—it work for him! With a little guidance for 2wks or so or until I felt safe enough to not watch him, I let him go by himself and he does great! Make sure to read the directions! It’s really wobbly if you leave the toilet seat down so make sure to pull it all the way up for more stability. Toddler seat is REALLY easy to remove and put back, as well and folds up great when needed. Oh and it’s a little wobbly, maybe cus I have a floor mat underneath? But either way it’s very sturdy! As long as they don’t play on it and purposely wiggle it they’ll be fine. Nothing to be concerned about. Read more
So, we were originally using one of those small training potties that sit on the floor. We taught our 4 year old to empty it and rinse it out on her own, but after a while, she stopped doing it. She went potty on her own, so we weren't the best about getting it rinsed out so eventually, it started getting stained and retaining smells. I started looking into these, as I like that we can just flush the toilet and get rid of all of that, and I ordered one to try out. My 4 and 2 year old were so excited to try these out! My 4 year old LOVES it, my 2 year old is a little scared of it still, but we're working with him on it. They both fit on it well and it seems quite sturdy. We ended "giving" the main bathroom to the kids so it can just stay on the toilet and us adults just use the master bedroom bathroom. It's great, keeps the bathroom from getting stinky and honestly, it's really cute! Read more
Pros: the 12 inch step help my daughter turn to use the toilet, promotes her independence in using the potty. Foldable, making it easy to put away when not used. Height also matches our seat. Cons: does not completely fit our round toilet even if it says its supposed to fit. It is just sitting on top of the seat and doesn't feel secure. So far it doesn't wobble whenever my daughter step and turn to use the toilet. Also, you can only put the ladder/step on the lowest setting coz the highest one will hit the toilet as seen in one of the other reviews. Overall good product but it still needs some improvements. The pros outweigh the cons for me. Read more
I bought this for my grandson that is 3 years old. We had him potty trained going pee in the potty chair. Could not get the other figured out. So I asked him why he would not use the big toilet to go poo. He said scary he would not elaborate on what part was scary so I figured it was the set up we were using. Once I bought this potty seat with the step on it. He started using the toilet and we no longer have to use the pull ups. This is a very sturdy seat that fits most toilets. It is worth the money in the long run. I spent money on other toilet seats and should have just spent the money on this one in the first place. In the long run you save money by not having to buy pull ups. So if you are trying to transition from potty chair to the toilet but this product you won't be sorry. Read more
This is a must have for toddlers. It’s perfect for beginning potty training, afterwards & until they can actually sit on the toilet without having to hold themselves up. Great purchase! Read more
I don’t know why this doesn’t have more reviews! This is the best “potty appliance” I’ve purchased. Others move around or are difficult to use/clean. My toddler absolutely loves this seat. It was easy to put together and he helped which made him like it even more. It doesn’t slide around at all on our elongated toilet (just make sure you lift the actual toilet lid). Highly recommend!
