Review of 24lb set: First off someone made a review that said their dumbbells only weighed 21lb. I think they forgot the last weight in the box or it was missing one, both of mine came in at 23.9lb. Cons: Plastic piece for weight selection. Works fine but a little worrisome if it were to break. Some movement of the weights in use/rattling. Not a big deal I think it comes with the territory with these kinds of dumbbells but something to note. Pros: 3-24lbs in 3lb increments. This is great, much better than having to go up 5lb each time. The weight selection is quick and easy and rather enjoyable. While the weights rattle a bit in use they are secure and work fine. In fact whenever you have them in a pressing motion they are extra secured, meaning they would not fall off even without the pin (of course not recommended). They are comfortable to grip and use. You may touch your forearm to the crossmember at times during certain movements (like wrist curls) but for the most part they work just like regular dumbbells. I have IronMaster dumbbells and these are a great addition for lighter weights. Also the weights are color coded to make it even easier/faster to change weights. Read more

Looked at many other versions of this type of dumbbell but all are so expensive. This comes with plastic clips to adjust the weights, which are held tightly and don't move around when you use them. They're not huge and easy to store, a good purchase Read more

I've had these adjustable dumbbells for a year now and love them. I like that they go up in 3lb increments instead of 5. There are a couple little reasons I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5, but I still think they're a fantastic weight set and I'd purchase them again. First, the piece that is used to adjust the weight is made of plastic and doesn't seem as durable as I'd like. Second, if you're trying to quickly switch weight between sets, it's easy to accidentally catch one weight on one side of the device and a different weight with the other side. Not a big deal, you just have to be careful to set the desired weight correctly. Most importantly, though, the 2 bottom weights on each dumbbell arrived a bit bent/damaged. It probably happened during shipping, but it was often causing the bottom weights to stay on the set when I picked them up even when I didn't set them to that weight. It happened enough to be annoying during my workouts and I was ready to send them back. Luckily I was able to get some help from someone stronger than me that was able to bend the bars back to where they should be, and that fixed the problem. I will say that I contacted the company's customer service and before fixing it and they were very helpful and willing to send replacement bars. 1 month after purchase, these weights have replaced all our dumbbells under 25 pounds. We were concerned they would be too bulky or clunky to work with but found them to be easy to use and secure. Because of their square design, they are easy to store almost anywhere. Read more

I had this set for 10 years and they worked perfectly. I used them for all my workouts (P90X, 80 Day Obsession, Insanity, etc) and I left them behind when we relocated. Biggest regret. I tried using my resistance bands and decided I had to have these again. I love how great they are for small spaces. You get 8 sets of weights in one small space. They range from 3# to 24# in 3# increments. Simply move the selector to the weight you want & lift. They work best on a flat surface. If you have a small space or hate having several weights all over the place, these are your best option. Read more
