Everything seems to work fine and this unit has exactly the functionality I need. Having the slots for SD and micro cards is a must for me. The only problem is the tiny blue LEDs, which you can only see if you are directly over the device. I would think they could have made these visible from a wide angle without any additional expense.... just a design flaw. But nothing is perfect. The first one was intermittent. Works great! This is a powered USB 3.0 ten port hub. Also has SD and microSD card slots (don't know if you can use both card slots at the same time or not). This hub requires an external power plug (included) which is the only way to go with large hubs. Also it obviously requires your computer to have at least one existing blue USB 3.0 or higher port to get high speed. It is backwardly compatible with USB 2.0 devices. All the ports are USB-A only, there are no USB-C ports. Each port also has an on/off button next to it which is convenient. I took one star off because the USB sockets are a very tight fit and don't feel smooth when plugging in. This makes the on/off switches useful instead of having to plug and unplug a drive repeatedly. UPDATE: It appears that the problems were stemming from a different device. Now the HUB seems to be working fine. Will update if I have problems. For now I've changed it to 5 stars as it wouldn't be fair to leave it at 1. Like many of the other reviews, mine is defective. Sometimes it recognizes USB devices and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, Windows will spam you about how there's a problem with the device. No amount of moving it to different ports, using the USB-C adapter or anything will get it to stop giving you this message. I thought it was just me and I was doing something wrong, but it's not--this thing fails at it's most basic functionality. It's outside of the return window so I get to just throw it in the trash. Really disappointing, it even has a card reader on it which I didn't try out, so maybe that works, but I don't care, I need a working USB 3.0 powered hub! Read more

Product would not work. Power supply cord was dead. I did have a spare of the same size mercifully. However, on testing, the product was stuck in an eternal cycle of connecting and disconnecting. I tried doing various driver updates, including deleting the computer usb drivers entirely and restarting to fresh reinstall them all. Nothing stopped the constant connect/disconnecting. Notably, everything plugged into the extender did not share thos same issue. My keyboard remained constantly on. Returned with the bad power cord that was included. I have a different Wenter device for a different computer that is still working great. Its why I had an extra cable to test with. The usb-C convertor is a nice touch with this product, as well as the micro sd slots. I may attempt this product again in the future as my other Wenter device does not have these features.
