This is an excellent powered USB hub. All outlets are USB 3.0, and the 5th one is dedicated for power charging. Solidly constructed, it comes with it's own dedicated power supply to insure adequate 5v power is available on all devices you may have plugged in. I love how I can turn individual devices on & off separately -- a very handy feature in my PC lab. I have not detected any USB speed slow-downs. With the rapid proliferation of USB-powered musical gear I needed to find a good hub at a good price. This is it. No software to download, no installation issues, just plug n' play. This particular hub has power switches for the individual ports and a charging port for phones, MP3 players, etc. Being able to turn individual or multiple ports off/on is a great help. Currently use it for powering a Behringer UMC204HD audio interface, two outboard hard drives and a drum machine monitored through Presonus active studio monitors and ATH-M50x Studio Monitoring Headphones. This unit contributed no audible/detectable noise to my signal stream -to my ears anyway, no actual measurement. No issues at all. I've seen more expensive hubs with fewer ports and no power switches but this little fellow is a champ. Well worth the price. Read more

Performs as advertised. I love the individual port switches too. Meets my needs perfectly. Am running it on an old MacBook Pro converted to GNU/Linux Parrot Home and MX Linux operating systems. Charges my iPhone too, but slowly...the power output of the USB-C charging port is measly. That is disappointing. Read more
I originally purchased the 6 port option and it died after 15 months. Even though the text says it comes with a 2 year warranty, there’s no way to contact the seller. Even Amazon was no help there. So I decided to just purchase another hub - this time the 5 port model from the same Wenter brand. When I attached it and booted up my Mac, only one monitor responded and I smelled something burning. I dove (comically) to immediately unplugged the new port. The monitor eventually sprung back to life and the burning smell dissipated. I seriously hope this thing didn’t damage any of my expensive hardware. Either way I’m officially done with this brand. By the way, nothing included in the packaging to contact the seller or manufacturer. Not happy at all with my purchase. Read more
