Infinite power! Ok but seriously. I needed a LOT of of USB power and power+data options and a problem I discovered was that way too many hubs only supplied a measly total amps. If I have a device that needs 2A (say a raspberry pi) and I need to power 5 of them, a 10-port hub with an adapter that maxes at 4A won't do much. This is the number one problem I've found with hub devices. While this one isn't the best, the power adapter will put out 60+W (which is 12.5A at 5v). Won't be power farming a bunch of phones or laptops but for li-ion charger bays, ear buds, wireless charging docks it's got plenty of power. Nice form factor for 14 slots. I wish it turned off individual ports instead of rows of 2 but what can you do. I use this to transfer data off portable drives and phones and hold a bunch of wireless/bluetooth receivers (headset, 2 keyboard, 2 mice, 1 kbm combo, dongle for DS/3 controllers), charge 2 wireless mice, and two aftermarket battery chargers for the puck battery in the Logitech 501 mouse, and never had any issues. Tucks away nicely into the corner. Another pro (personal opinion) the power brick isn't built into the plug meaning it won't block receptacles on a power strip. In a world of ever more USB power delivery needs, I find more and more I prefer hubs that have the convertor along the cable instead of in the plug (best option is in the hub). Very solid build quality. Buttons feel quality. Ports are a smooth fit (ever notice cheap ones sometimes feel gritty, it's because the stamped sheet metal of the port has a poor finish) and secure retention. If I could change one thing I wish it had a USB-c port instead of a USB B 3.0. The computer end could remain an USB A but long USB 3.0 with a right angle connector are pretty hard to find (usually the long ones are all 2.0 or you can't find the correct orientation). I ended up having to run a short 1.5' cable with the right angle connection I needed to an A male to A female extension. Read more

Perfect. I have a digital camera and an audio interface which requires plugging the USB cables in and out to either switch them off or start streaming and now I don't have to do that anymore..just press the buttons on the hub and presto. Read more

This has been invaluable to me since migrating from a large tower to a Ultra-Compact PC. All the 2.5 SSDs & NVME I had used in tower are now in their own enclosures and hooked up neatly to this hub with the ability to turn them off and on when needed. Read more

It worked great at first, but that only lasted about 2 months. In that time, I have had the same devices plugged into it, have not moved it, etc. All of a sudden, it just started rapidly disconnecting and reconnecting from my PC so often and so quickly that my syslog reached a size of 100mb in 10-15 minutes. I, of course, tried different ports, tried another PC, but the end result is the same, it rapidly connects and disconnects the device. I am extremely disappointed. They say that "you get what you pay for", so I had hoped that paying for a relatively expensive USB hub would mean that it would work well, be reliable, and *last a long time*.
