I got this so I could easily and quickly set up my work computer when I work remote, and I must say this thing is awesome. There are more than enough ports for all the gadgets you could be using, and the solid build quality makes this an excellent place to put your hard earned cash. It's simple, functional, and can be used to charge multiple items at once if you need to. It can even power larger items like my microphone setup. Last, it allows you to run multiple items in one easily connectable device. I've run two cameras, two mic sets, charged my phone, and worked with externals at the same time. Pretty hard to beat. Used at the desktop of our office manager, this has opened up a wide range of options. Able to connect multiple USB devices, she is very happy she no longer stoops to her computer's USB ports for connections. This does it all: charging, data transmission, etc. Very functional, easy to use, and the LEDs are bright and easily seen. I've not measured the transmission speed, but the user perceives it to be as fast as plugging directly into the computers USB 3.0 port. A good buy for us! Read more

I got this to replace a USB 2.0 non-powered hub. I did notice a big speed difference between the two. There are individual switches to turn on/off each port. Each port has a very bright blue LED when the port is on. It's so bright that I had to switch the ports off at night, or unplug the power supply, to stop the ceiling from glowing blue. The only problem I found so far is that my external HDD stopped working when the hub is powered up. If I disconnect the power, then I can access the external drive okay. Absolutely love this ended up ordering two so I had one home as well as work. This little device allows me to plug in everything I need and keep it to one side so I don't have stuff sticking out of my computer, everything's in one place. I use this on a PC and a short cable just doesn't work well. So this has a 4Ft cable. I don't need to cram it in right next to my PC. The lights are nice and I like having the individual switches. So far, no troubles at all. Read more
I use this with my tiny PC (7" square, four total ports), and have speakers, two SSDs, and two thumb drives running almost consistently. I get good USB 3.0 speeds with all 3.0 devices, even using more than one at a time. I've never had disconnects due to inadequate power. Really well-made hub. Read more
