I've had this usb hub since 01/2024, and have been using it every day since that time (about 20 months roughly) I have two Seagate Expansion Drives plugged into it, a usb microphone, a webcam, and a usb mouse. In addition, I routinely use one of the open slots to charge various equipment (mp3 recorder for example) and to connect to the computer (cell phones for example). The hub has ports that connect to the computer and ports that can just be used for charging (color contrasted with blue and orange respectively). I have never once had any issue with this hub. This has been the best hub I've ever owned; the LED lights are still working, the buttons still work great, and it has never had any sort of shorts (from the cord being bumped and whatnot, as others I've used in the past have). Such a difference over the non powered USB strips. I have my hard drive enclosures, card reader and a couple other devices connected. All ports are USB 3.0 so the data transfer is quick. Having multiple ports just for charging is great for head phones and controllers. Its really nice being able to toggle power to whichever port you are using. Read more
I installed this on my desk, hold it down with a piece of Velcro. I very much like the button feature for turning on and off the individual ports the size and funcionality are perfect. And the number ports on this particular version suit my needs well Read more
So after having this a little over a year I will say it's the best out of all I've bought. However over time a couple of ports dont work and one port will completely shut the entire hub off if I turn it on. So of course I keep that one off. Currently needing to replace this one due to the issues but I guess it had a great run. Read more
