I've had this usb hub since 01/2024, and have been using it every day since that time (about 20 months roughly) I have two Seagate Expansion Drives plugged into it, a usb microphone, a webcam, and a usb mouse. In addition, I routinely use one of the open slots to charge various equipment (mp3 recorder for example) and to connect to the computer (cell phones for example). The hub has ports that connect to the computer and ports that can just be used for charging (color contrasted with blue and orange respectively). I have never once had any issue with this hub. This has been the best hub I've ever owned; the LED lights are still working, the buttons still work great, and it has never had any sort of shorts (from the cord being bumped and whatnot, as others I've used in the past have).
