This has been awesome for taming the rats-nest of wires that I have and allowing me to power a ton of devices simultaneously. I am very impressed with this RSHTECH 10-port hub. There are three 10 Gbps ports, two with USB C and one with USB A, providing great flexibility. I can charge my smartphone and another type C device while transferring data from my type A external SSD. And there are still plenty of ports available for everything else, including mouse, keyboard, other external storage, fitness ring and watch. I don’t have to plug and unplug multiple devices or use multiple hubs, as I had to do with other hubs. The RSHTECH 10-port hub has individual blue lights for each port, so you know when a device is on. There is no button that sticks up. You touch the surface of the hub, for one second to turn a port on and for three seconds to turn it off. This adds to the overall smooth and sleek design of this RSHTECH hub. It sits flat on the desk and is very sturdy. It does not rock or twist even though multiple devices are connected at once. The charger makes all the difference in the world. AT 60W, it has all the power I need. I had issues with other hubs when I connected multiple external storage devices. No problem for the RSHTECH10-port hub. Plus, the cord is 3 feet long. That makes it easy to reach an outlet to plug in the charger. It also comes with a long cord to connect the RSHTECH hub to the computer. User tip: the charger must be plugged in and turned on for the hub to operate. It says so in the user manual, but, of course, I did not read the manual first. I have a three-year old computer that can accommodate only one type-C device. I can connect the RSHTECH 10-port hub with a USB C female to USB A male adapter and it works fine in the type A computer input port. I have two external monitors, and I can also connect both through the RSHTECH 10-port hub. That is fantastic! Everything I have to connect to the computer can come through this one hub. I have been through several hubs over the years and never really been that pleased with them. Do keep in mind that I build and service computers, am professionally degreed, and have been working with PC since 1986. I am VERY.. familiar with tech. This hub is of solid construction and has a much better power supply than most, with even a full length cord (It Disappeared neatly into the "Sargasso Sea of Wires" under and behind my desk --chuckles). It actually gives me 2 more USB ports than my last hub. This unit is genuine Type C, and you can replace the data cable as needed, so I was able to plug it directly into my high speed 20GB USB type C port on the back of the tower for full speed connectivity.. Really Kewl! I was a bit concerned about the capacitive touch power switches, but there is no problem at all.. Touch to turn on, touch and hold for 3 seconds to turn off. TG for Amazon Day!!! I was able to get this thing at a really good price. The unit connected perfectly and I have no more problems with disconnecting devices. Data transfer speed is excellent. I have no complaints. Build: I really like the size and build of this one for a desktop layout. Its decently heavy and doesnt go flying in other directions, its sits flat on my desk. The buttons are easily accessible, clearly next to each port. All big lettering, clearly labelled. The finish is mirror but so far isn't attracting a ton of fingerprints as typically would. Also bonus points that the USB cable is removable! Will have to try with a long cable and see what the speed difference looks like. Functions: Overall it functions great, have had no issues or speed drops that I've noticed in 3 weeks of usage. The buttons are touch sensitive and while I personally like a tactile feel, I dont have to worry about other items turning it on/off. (Having power for each port is really important to me, between disconnecting devices that I'm not using, to just faking my player 2 controller that I may actually use, its really nice to see) Bottom line: At this price I have yet to find anything else that has this many C and A ports, at high speed, with power buttons, detachable cable AND feels great quality. I recently purchased this Powered USB Hub to work alongside my new Mini Computer and it has worked flawlessly so far. Have not had it long enough to give it a higher rating but so far I have used it for charging my cell phones and downloaded photos and videos off the phone to the Passport Hard Drives I have plugged into this hub.
