Holds a lot, packs up into nothing
I remember the days back in the college dorms, carrying a plastic caddy with all my personal care items to the shared bathrooms. Those days are long behind me, but there are plenty of occasions to need to do the same thing: at the gym, camping, going to the beach, staying in a hostel. This mesh tote can do all of that. My first impression of this item is how lightweight it is and how tiny when folded up. When unfolded, however, it holds a ton. This can be tucked into a suitcase or gym bag and take up no room at all, but provide a lot of utility. The tote is floppy until you put items into it. The center can hold bulky items (such as a towel or the clothes you're going to change into), and the pockets on the sides can hold multiple items in a variety of sizes. It works best if you put items in the middle first, then the sides stand up straight and it's easier to slide things into the slots. The tote will stand up when full, or the handle can be used to hang it up on a hook or over a shower head. This item looks like it's put together well and should be sturdy as long as it's not repeatedly overstuffed. The price is a good deal as well (it's even dropped a couple of bucks since I ordered). Given how tiny and versatile it is, it's earned a permanent place among my travel gear. Read more
