We have been using this soap line for years. We initially bought it at soap specialty boutiques that have since closed so we were thrilled to be able to locate the line on Amazon. There are a multitude of scents and we have tried most of them over the course of time but of course have our favorites and lavender is one of them. The soap smells amazing. Lathers very well and a bar lasts approximately a month in the shower. They come individually wrapped so they store well. These are luxury soaps but life demands that you treat yourself now and then. This soap leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated. I don't feel a film left on the skin. I would give it 6 stars but the fragrance is too light for my taste. It does not linger on my skin like my other French soaps.I wish the fragrance were stronger. Read more

I got this after a visit to France regretting that I did not buy more (I gave them all away as gifts!!). So when I saw this brand at this price, I pulled the trigger. The quality is wonderful. You don't feel slick or "oily" after using. The scent is subtle but noticeable. For me personally, I found the 250G to be a slightly larger than I wanted, but I'm pretty sure that would be a positive for most. I consider it a great purchase at this price.
