The package arrived right on time. It was just what I was looking for to save my piercing while being pregnant. It was a very long ring so I was able to cut it in half and get two and it was easy to re-thread just as they claim. I'm not sure why anyone would call it "cheap" it's flexible but not fragile by any means. I would recommend this item to anyone who's piercing is getting uncomfortable with a regular ring or if it's getting stretched out at all. Read more

I bought this because I'm currently 7 months pregnant and my metal belly button ring had become uncomfortable. This seems to be working fine, but one quick tip for re-threading the balls after you cut the plastic is to cut the end at a slight angle (i had no problems getting the ball to screw back on after that) but i did find it difficult to get the ball screwed back on if I cut the plastic straight across. Purchased this for when I was 8 months pregnant. It was great and I was able to cut it to fit perfectly. I never had a problem with the balls falling out. They screwed right on and didn't come off until I took them off. Read more

The plastic bar is extremely too long (can get snagged on a shirt or if you accidentally rub or bump against something.. this could tear your skin) the quality is overall horrible. Flimsy plastic.. I couldnt even wear or use it. The balls don’t screw on. I tried cutting the bar but that didn’t fix the issue. Not expensive but still a waste of money. Read more

There is not a thing wrong with the ring itself, it is exactly what I thought I was getting and showed up on time. But it doesn't serve it's purpose well. Because the plastic of the ring is so long (it slides around and catches on things a lot) and a little abrasive(like a thick gauge fishing wire) I ended up with an infection anyway that I didn't seem to be able to clear no matter what I used to clean it, without giving up and taking the ring out. I have had my piercing for 10 years and never an infection even though I have not always used rings made of appropriate metals or taken great care, but this ring irritated within hours. Possibly if you start using it soon enough the skin will toughen to it and you can avoid this, but because my belly was already pretty big when I switched to this one, the ring would rub and really had no hope of working. This barbell is fantastic. The flexible plastic is great for when you stretch. It's easy to cut it to any length you want. I kept mine the original length for most of the time because I didn't know how much I'd need to trim it down. It's super comfortable. Very happy with this purchase.
