Ok this is a weird use for this product, but bear with me. Before going on a big hiking adventure, an expert advised me to hold onto my hiking backpack straps as I walked in order to keep my chest open and make it easier for me to breath (when I was not using my trekking polls). My only issue was that my figures would go numb from being compressed between my straps and my body. I bought these and attached them to the straps of the bag to give my self a place to hold onto. I used this system at different times during my big hike and was so happy with the results. These handles worked perfectly, even when I was wearing large winter gloves. These Premium Exercise Pull Handles are a great replacement for Total Gym handles. I have a Total Gym (TG) and the nylon strap on one of the original handles broke, due to age. I didn't want to pay the high price to replace the handle with an original, so I purchased these instead. The Premium handles may not be the same quality as TG, but they work just as well.
