I've tried a few different mouth tapes and this one is the clear winner on the two things that actually matter: adhesion and comfort. It stays on through the night without fail and feels genuinely comfortable on the skin, which sounds basic but most tapes in this category get at least one of those wrong. One thing worth noting for anyone with facial hair: removal in the morning is not the most pleasant experience. It's not painful but it's not nothing either. Manageable, but worth knowing going in. The four stars instead of five comes down entirely to price. This is an expensive product for what it is, and while it earns its place as the best option I've found, I'm not fully convinced the gap in quality over cheaper alternatives justifies the gap in price. If you're using this for mouth tape during sleep, just know it is very sticky. If you have a moustache, plan on losing a hair or six when removing it. Otherwise, it works great. You just gotta be tough and able to withstand it pulling on your facial hair during removal. It has not torn my skin or removed any from my body, just the hair. Read more

I love this mouth tape especially because it’s gentle and doesn’t rip my lips off in the morning. I have been using them for a few weeks now and enjoy sleeping with it on. It keeps my mouth closed so I’m not waking up with a dry mouth anymore and also I feel like it has even helped with breathing through my nose. I know there are many more benefits to mouth taping so I’m excited to continue using them. They are sticky enough to cover your mouth but gentle enough when removing it as well. No residue is left like some of the others out there! Very stretchy as well! It seems like they would fit anyone Read more

Had been using Hostage Tape brand mouth tape for a couple years. I ran out so I decided I’d try this. It’s pretty good. Fair bit larger - I always had to stretch my Hostage Tape before putting it on so that it would get all the way across my mouth. The paper backing isn’t perforated for easy removal, so it can take a few extra seconds to flip flip flip at the corner to get it started. Overall a good product. My main concern is, when I purchased this in October of ‘25, it was a 30 pack for $9.99. Currently in February of ‘26, it is $23 for a 30 pack. For that price, I’ll look elsewhere. Four star product, two star price. Read more

Patch4U is convenient because each patch is individually wrapped and ready to use, so there is no need to rip or tear anything. I like that a lot. The only issue I noticed is that it leaves a small amount of black residue around my mouth. It is not terrible, but enough that I need soap, water, and a little scrubbing with a towel to remove it. For comparison, I have also used 3M Medipore H tape, and the fabric feels very similar and sticks just as well. I will probably order the 4-inch, 10-yard size next time. The main difference is that the 3M tape needs to be cut or torn to size, while Patch4U is already prepared for single use. Patch4U is black and the 3M tape is white, but the biggest difference is the price. Buying the tape from other sources can bring the cost down to about one cent per use. Read more

Let's be honest, most medical tape seems to be designed by someone who secretly hates you. You know the kind—the kind that takes three layers of skin, a small family of hairs, and your dignity with it when it's time for removal. It's like a tiny, sticky werewolf has you in a death grip. Well, I'm here to report from the other side. This tape... this glorious, gentle, hypoallergenic tape... is what the angels use. I had to use this on a sensitive spot, and I was fully prepared for the usual "wince-and-rip-it-fast-while-making-a-weird-face" procedure. But when it was time to take it off, it just... came off. No fight. No pain. It left a little sticky residue, but that came off easily with soap and gentle scrubbing—a tiny price to pay for not yanking my skin into another dimension. My skin was just... my skin. It holds perfectly well, but it doesn't form some unholy, permanent bond with your epidermis. It's soft, it's gentle, and it didn't make my skin itch or complain at all. This is it. This is the one. My search for a tape that doesn't require a motivational speech and a stiff drink to remove is finally over. 5 stars, would gladly (and painlessly) remove again. Read more
