Don't limit yourself to just business cards. These work well with small, tri-fold brochures and even advertising items such as pens, fridge magnets, etc. They can easily be fastened to horizontal or vertical surfaces with double sided sticky tape and their small size will ensure they fit in almost anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the plastic; they are durable and sturdy and have, so far, survived a good amount of abuse. Follow up note: When I originally ordered these they were $10.00 with free shipping. I just went to reorder and the price has gone up to $13.00 and it's now $4.99 shipping FOR EACH ITEM (no more free shipping). That makes it almost $15.00 and you can do much better elsewhere on line. After searching for vertical business card holders, I realize there are not too many options (at least currently on Amazon.com). This one is simple and works great. The plastic is clear and clean. It came packaged well in bubble wrap. It financially makes much more sense to buy this in bulk as a 10-pack as opposed to buying the 1-pack - but I didn't really need 10, and I needed more than 1!
