Great price for a very cool box. the only issue is the size is not 8x5 internal the storage area is about 4 x 7 due to the wall thickness, i needed a nice box to store a marinade injector and accessories needed the 8 " length but i made it work cause i really liked the box. better than the cardboard and it looks great on my counter Read more

Beautiful wooden treasure box.
I really like this trinket box. It's perfect for odds and ends and miscellaneous small treasures. The top design (a sacred Om sign on mine) is absolutely beautiful. I believe the design itself is hand-carved, as it appears to have a few lovely 'imperfections' (variations in the design that I think enhance the overall presentation). I do know that at least some part of this box is "handcrafted", according to the product description, and the sticker on the bottom says that it was Made in India. That might actually refer to the construction, especially since mine doesn't open very easily. I have to slide a fingernail under the top and pry it open...less than ideal. Still, it's a beautiful treasure box, and I feel delighted every time I see it! Fairly priced and well made, this is an easy one to recommend. Four stars! Read more
