I received this steam cleaner yesterday and planned to review it this morning. I intended to write a detailed review with photos and videos, covering all its features. However, unfortunately, I foolishly pulled the unit pff of my kitchen counter while exploring the power settings and cracked the water reservoir when it hit the kitchen floor. I believe I can repair it, and, since I was able to test the basic functionality, I'll review what I can. I’ll review the basic feature of the machine, which I believe are the most important. First, the initial startup was quick and easy. Add water to the tank, insert two AAA batteries into the wand (I didn’t see this mentioned on the page, but you do need two AAA batteries for operation). Plug it in and turn it on. The manufacturer claims a 15-second heating time, but I believe it was closer to 10 seconds, so that was a nice surprise. Notably, the first time you power it on, you’ll get water, not steam, from the wand for just a few seconds. Be prepared for that. I was able to cycle through the three power settings, which are all impressive. That's when, with a crash, catastrophe struck. My fault, not theirs. If I manage to seal the crack (I believe some flex seal tape will do the trick), this machine will become an essential part of my cleaning arsenal. Read more
When this arrived, my tween son and I tripped off to the bathroom to give it a workout. He was amazed how easy it was to clean the toilet and shower grout with steam. It works well to get steam into crevices to break up stuck on dirt and other bathroom yuck. Set up was simple - just a few batteries. The wand pairs with the base unit via bluetooth. Hold down the button, choose the steam setting and point it at whatever you want to clean. Comes with duplicates of the various brushes. Unfortunately, under the heat of the steam, the bristles of the brushes were easily deformed, so I'd recommend finding a more durable brush to scrub with instead of the brushes that come with this unit. This comes with every attachment you will probably ever need. I doubt I will ever use all of them. This heats up quickly and does a great job cleaning the grout between my tiles. Be sure to wear gloves when using this to avoid burning yourself on the hot metal parts. The size makes it easy to move around and use throughout the entire house. The only thing that seems odd to me is the trigger unit takes batteries. Read more
This steamer heats up instantly, which is one of the best things about it. The steam gets really hot and feels like it sanitizes well. It also comes with a ton of attachments and accessories, so it’s useful for a lot of different cleaning jobs. The downside is that the spray is pretty uneven and the overall build quality doesn’t really match the price. Once you fill the tank, there isn’t a good way to empty out the water without using it up, which can be inconvenient. The steam levels don’t feel very different from each other either. All three settings seem to come out with about the same strength, so the adjustability isn’t as helpful as it sounds. The steam is powerful but not very manageable at times, and I wish the flow were more controlled. Overall, it heats up fast and does a solid job for deep cleaning, but the design quirks and uneven spray for the price keep it from being perfect. Read more
