This is my second Presto skillet as I used my mother’s the first 48 years of my married life with four kids! I love these skillets. They are light weight with even a better nonstick surface for easy cleaning. The heating element cooks throughout the skillet. You can add vegetables with the meat and dirty less pots and pans. I bought a smaller size for my needs, it cooks the food efficiently and I love these skillets temperature control to time the cooking so you don’t have to watch constantly. I used this the very day of arrival, and I absolutely love it!!! The size is perfect to prepare meals for four people. Food does not stick and food cooks evenly. I have only had this skillet for a couple of weeks so I don't know about the durability, but it cleans up well. It is dishwasher safe, but I prefer handwashing, as I have had better luck with pots and pans lasting longer this way. I love the square design, and the weight is reasonable. Read more
This is the 2nd purchase of this Presto elec skillet. The last one lasted 8 years!!! It's perfectly sized. Nice & deep, simply put in some hot water & Dawn, wait a few seconds and wipe it clean with a paper towel. Rinse well, dry. Place a paper towel in it to store the elec control. Works great for everything. We do Tuna Tetrazzini, porkchops, bacon, burgers, etc. Love the temp control is accurate and responds quickly. Hope they keep making this exact one, because I'll need another one in about 8 years. To make yours last that long, only use teflon utensils. Do not use anything scratchy or rough to clean. It's best to clean immediately after cooking, while still hot, add water & dishsoap, wipe clean. Enjoy. Read more

Very good electric skillet. Nice appearance, easy to clean. Only negative for me was it needed some minor assembly which I do not like but glad it was fairly simple to do. Will need a Phillips head screwdriver. This should be mentioned in the description online I think. Reason for only giving 4 stars. Read more

This skillet is a game changer for me. I live in a tiny house with a funky two burner electric cook top. It takes me close to an hour to make bacon, eggs, and hash brown potatoes because I can only use one small frying pan at a time on the cooktop. This skillet heats quickly, cooks evenly and is so roomy I can cook my whole breakfast together At the same time. I’ve cooked many meals in this skillet and it gets a five star rating in my opinion. Works wonderfully, and I'm very pleased. Value for money is significant. My old cooktop gave up the ghost months ago so I've been looking for temporary solutions. This is =so= much better than a hot plate! I've made scrambled eggs and fried up meat for nachos and burritos, but it really shone in the bacon department. Cooks (thick-sliced) bacon quickly, evenly, and more crisp than my old cooktop ever did. Washes clean very nicely; the cover means no spatter; I like the short cord for safety. I'm looking forward to making a pineapple upside down cake with a carmelized topping. On top of all that, it's handsome (was easy to assemble as well).
