I am VERY picky about my towels and I fell in love with these instantly. Washed before first use and the were like heaven after my shower. I was a little bit underwhelmed when I received the towels. I was expecting truly plush and luxuriant feeling towels. While they do feel solid, they are not so soft. The towels are reasonably thick comparitively and are also sized for a normal adult. I washed them before using, but that did not change the texture any. Not even after 3-4 washes has it gotten any "softer". Normal washing and drying. They do a good job drying and the way the material is crafted, water gets wicked away and in to the towel so the outside does not feel as damp after drying, as most other towels do. I detracted a star due to the Ultra Soft claim..that just was not my experience. Read more
