This set is super cute and soft, but WAY off on the sizing of the pants. I normally wear Medium. I should sized up 2x because the pants are so tight in the waist. There’s no “give” in the elastic band, which is odd. They’re plenty long, but even hiking them up was too tight. The top is cute and fits true to size. Read more

I like this outfit a lot, although I have a few minor issues with it. But those would be maybe a half star deduction, so I'm going with the full 5. First off, the fabric is so soft and very comfortable. It's not the usual ribbing that I've gotten in my other Pretty Garden sets that I love, but just a smooth softness. I think the color is a little off as it's supposed to be brick red and sort of a beige, but that brick red just looks like brown to me. I think that's a minor thing. Also, the elastic holding up the top is thin, It works and kept the fabric up, but I would have liked it a little more substantial. By the way, I wore a tube bra with this as I felt it looked better. This is pretty easy wearing and doesn't wrinkle easily. It looked good right out of the vacuum packed bag, so that would make it a great outfit for travel. It's lightweight and breathable and good for summer. I like the pockets and the fit of the pants. I'm a bit between size M and L, so went with the L and I like that just fine. My measurements are 37-32-40, so going by the size chart, I think I could also have fit a M. I think for me, I'd wear this is with a cute cap sleeve denim jacket I have, or maybe a shrug or light sweater. I think it could go really casual with flip flops or dressed up a bit with nicer shoes and a nice jacket or sweater. For reference, I am 5'7" and 150 lbs. And let’s talk about the pants! They strike a great balance between being loose and that chic Palazzo style, so you won’t feel like you’re swimming in fabric, which is always a plus. Caring for this outfit is a breeze too! Just toss it in the washing machine on the delicate cycle. Just a tip, since this outfit is not to be machine dried, I pop it in on the air-dry cycle for about 20 minutes and then hang, it’ll be perfect!
