I really love high-waisted, wide-legged pants, but it was difficult for me to find ones that were long enough in the rise that they could sit at my natural waist without riding up in the crotch area. I initially bought Tronjori, but then decided to give PrettyGarden a try, and I'm glad I did. Comparison: FABRIC Tronjori - a little thicker, better quality. It also zips up like regular pants, in the front, and I have had mine for years with no problems with the zipper. They look good close-up and far away. PrettyGarden - A little thinner and some problems with the zipper. Not as good quality up close, but look fine from far away. Winner: Tronjori FIT Tronjori: Same wide-leg and high-waisted, but the front rise is shorter and it can ride up if you need a longer rise. PrettyGarden: Plenty of room in front. Winner: PrettyGarden Both are available in a lot of colors, so it really comes down to fit. They're also both pretty breathable; they're my go-to for summer work outfits because they're so billowy that it doesn't get too hot (in Houston, that's saying something). The PrettyGarden ones are a bit thinner, so they're actually even cooler, which is a bonus for me. I bought a size bigger than I knew I needed and belted it, which ensured that the fit was right. These pants are pretty. I purchased the reddish brown, nice fall color, I was surprised the zipper was on the right side. That wasn't really a problem though the zipper IS a bit tricky and I almost needed a third hand. I am 5'6" 162lb and bought a MLong. It fit like a regular length. I can usually pick size 10 pants regular length and still able to wear small kitten heels. These were regular length for flats. The tag on the pants say M so I was confused as to whether I got just a medium and not a medium long. The pants are flowy, comfortable and feel nice and dressy. Going to keep them and wear with flats but it would have been great if the were longer to wear my kitten heels as well. I was ready to get one in each color but will wait and see. Read more

Outstanding pants!! These beautifully designed trousers are well made and are perfect to hide those of us (me!) who have thick thighs and wide hips. The material has a soft flow quality, but is dense enough to allow the wearer to avoid feeling as though you must wear a compression garment. These slacks have a side zipper that I think compliments a shapely figure so much better than a front placed zipper. They also have a wide elastic band in the back to assure a nicely snug fit around the waist, preventing annoying gaps. As a tall woman close to 6 feet, the length of these pants allowed me to wear kitten heels without looking like I was wearing ankle pants. For shorter women, these slacks can be easily hemmed without any negative impact to their overall look. I haven’t laundered these trousers yet, so I can’t comment on their durability. I would suggest turning them inside out, washing on a gentle cycle, using a less harsh detergent, and either drip dry or low heat dryer cycle. Read more

I mean, they’re fine. I could spend almost the same amount and get a similar pair with better design and construction from a non-Amazon brand. I needed them as part of a costume but planned on wearing them past that. I will say it’s a flattering style - my waist is snatched. The zipper is located on the side, which typically wouldn’t bother me but there is no clasp at the top of the zipper to hold it together while you put them on. It also looks kind of strange at the front of the pants because there’s no proper zipper so you kind of have to wear a belt. Because you’re wearing a belt over the zipper going pee is kind of a nightmare. I think, despite all that, the worst part is the material. It looks fine but it is so staticky to the point where it clings to my entire leg. What pant is worth rubbing your legs with dryer sheets or smelling like static guard all day? It irons or steams quickly and doesn’t hold wrinkles too bad due to its synthetic nature. It fits true to size and is pretty comfortable if you like to put your legs up in an office chair like I do. Jury’s out on just how durable they are. I’m surprised by the construction quality, but that doesn’t mean they will last. Read more
