Great for outdoor beer pong games!

I'm actually using these for a completely different purpose than golfing. I made my own Battleship Beer Pong game and use these instead of ping pong balls! A little backstory. You may have seen a picture floating around of people who cut up foam blocks into ship shapes and cut holes for solo cups. I loved this idea and wanted to take it to the next level. Get a pool, fill it halfway, make your ships, and have them float around in the pool to up the difficulty! Anyway. The issue with pong balls are that they're fragile and too light for outdoor activities...likely to be affected by the wind quite a bit. Ping pong balls are 3g. These are 7g. Just enough difference that it doesn't affect your throw much, but adds quite a bit of windproofing. They are also foam and can't get smashed by drunk people. They float (essential) and wring out water with a squeeze. The color is great too. They may be a little heavy for cups not secured by some sort of holder, but I've seen floating beer pong raft things and I think these would be perfect for that application too. See pictures for a glimpse at our maiden voyage game! It was awesome! Read more

Great, low-priced option for front or backyard batting practice.

These are great for batting practice. They fly farther than the mini plastic balls, so the kids have more fun hitting. And the price for 12 is a steal. They can hit cars, windows, plants and just about anything without doing damage. When I was pitching to my 10-year-old, he drove one straight back at me from just 20 feet away. It hit me square in my eye (luckily it was closed) and didn't even give me a shiner. The kid down the street got a good laugh out of it, though. Read more

perfect practice balls

I love these! I was going to purchase a 6 pack at a sporting goods store for 24.99 because I had borrowed some of the same ones from a neighbor but thought that the price was a little too high. These are of the same quality and are great for practice. The weight of the balls are obviously lighter than a real ball, but they are heavy enough to stay in place and use for practice. I did notice that these were easier to find than the pink ones I have used before because of the color. I plan to buy another pack because I want to have enough to use and practice without having to fetch after them so quickly. Read more

Great for indoor short game practice

The media could not be loaded. I’ve only used these for chipping with my 60 and 54 wedge. They have a realistic trajectory and roll out compared to a real ball. My basement carpet plays like a medium speed green so it works well for practicing putts/chips. In the video I compare the practice ball to a real golf ball. I tried to make consistent contact between each ball. You’ll notice that the practice ball rolls out pretty well. It does get realistic spin, but due to the light weight the spin has a greater affect on trajectory and, in the case of chipping, the roll out. You can see in the last chip the ball rolled out to the right. This was due to the exaggerated effect of spin on the light weight practice ball. I actually find this helpful because it gives me feedback on my swing. I like this product for my purpose and it allows me to practice different chips/pitches without the fear of blading the ball into a window. They are a dense and hollow plastic and seem to hold up well. I’ve nailed the wall pretty hard with no damage to the wall or ball. The only critique I have is that the seam of the ball is very pronounced. It’s not a dealbreaker but would probably cause some funky spin when hitting outdoors with a longer club. Read more

Nice Balls

Will give you a decent idea of trajectory and spin without having to hit a real golf ball. Works best with short or medium irons. They last a long time. Usually until I lose one or my dad runs it over with the lawnmower. Read more

Great for indoor golf practice!

I bought these to use with my Optishot golf simulator. I wanted to be able to actually hit a ball in my living room, but I didn't want to break everything in the house. These balls are the right size and look like the real thing, but they are very soft and I don't have to worry about the window when I slice. Great purchase and they last very long. I have only gone through a couple of them, and that was because my dog thought a few were chew toys. Very good product and I suggest them to anybody. Read more

Good for kids or low swing speeds

I think these are better suited for kids than adults with higher swing speeds. To be fair, I bought these for my 8 yo son but I hoped to use them as well. The problem is compared to other practice balls like this, the foam is really soft and they fly differently in the air, presumably due to being squashed off the face of the club when struck. They work great for my son and they’ve held up so far over about 10 different practice sessions so I think they’ll serve the purpose but if you swing fast, you may consider a harder foam ball.
