I put this together in about a half an hour and all the screws and tools were included. The storage size is as big as a twin size mattress. There are no extra supports or surprise pop-up legs underneath, the mattress is supported by the metal outer frame and the metal slats that fit horizontally across (the item picture is spot on if my explanation was a little confusing. The only thing I wasn't expecting was the way the mattress sits; I thought it would lay flat on top of the frame, but the frame is slightly wider and longer than my twin mattress. I think you would probably be able to fit a twin xl mattress without a problem. I almost took off half a star for that, but it is such a good price, the storage is FANTASTIC, it's so durable and perfect if you're hesitant about putting furniture together yourself, that wouldn't really be fair. I would order it again or suggest it to anyone looking for a storage saving bed frame. Read more
We’ve had this frame for a few weeks. It arrived on time and was easy to put together. The instructions are picture only but easy to follow. It took about 15 minutes to put together. I was worried it would squeak but so far it has proved to be noiseless. I fully expect to need to tighten the bolts/screws at some point so will see. I ordered this for its weight capacity. My hubby and I are combined weight of 500 lbs so had to have a heavy duty frame. This seems sturdy for our needs as it doesn’t buckle, creak, or move while in use. We use a traditional mattress and didn’t need to add a layer to prohibit the mattress from seeping through the slats. The mattress fits perfectly into the frame and doesn’t slide. I love the storage underneath the bed! We bought this for our lake house park model so the additional storage is invaluable. The 12”mattress is definitely higher but I like a higher bed…our previous box spring was a low profile and just too low. Now my dog can’t breathe in my face! I have hit my knee on the corner a few times but hoping the muscle memory kicks in soon. That, or I’ll need to buy corner bumpers. Overall I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it. It was about $50 less than comparable frames. Read more
Very sturdy, solid, no squeaking. Sits high enough off the ground you can slide full-size laundry baskets. Ideal if you are trying to use the area under the bed for storage. Make sure its not too high off the ground for you, especially if you choose to use it with a box spring + mattress. Read more

I was mainly looking for a metal bed frame for my bed because I have no box spring, then I came across this one and I started reading the reviews. I loved the fact that it was 18’ off the floor and had lots of storage space under the bed. I love to move around my room constantly so I thought this would be perfect. And let me tell you, I made the right decision purchasing this item! I was not disappointed at all. My bed feels so much more sturdy and I slept well. It was so easy to put together, the instructions were plain, simple and easy and it came with the little tools to put the bed together. I put it together myself hassle free. I’m 5’3 and the frame height is to my knee basically. When I tell you don’t hesitate on purchasing this item I mean it lol this was the best purchase I’ve made! I have a newborn as well so changing his diapers on the bed has been a lot easier on my back I don’t have to bend down as much or at all I should say. I got the queen frame & im so satisfied with how it looks and feels. Read more

This was easy to set up, is very sturdy and supportive for 2 larger adults (man is big and tall, 6' 2"). The clearance (from the floor to the underside of the frame) is 12 1/2". This is important if you are going to put storage containers/boxes under the bed, which I do. However, you need to put them under the bed from the side, not the foot of the bed. There is an extra bar at the foot, so the clearance is about 5 1/2". The steel frame isn't as attractive as a wooden one, which we had previously, but it's much more durable. The wooden one had slats (under the mattress), which broke after a few months. Later, the frame also broke, causing back problems and difficulty in getting off of the bed (even with stacks of heavy, large books underneath to hold it up). So, we replaced it with this, which works much better. Highly recommended for practicality. Read more
I have to say, I think this frame is really nice! I thought it might be too tall when I bought it, I felt It'd be better if I could get a 14 inch frame, but I wanted the room underneath for storage boxes, so I chose this one. It's extremely easy to assemble, and no there isn't any real instructions, just a picture of what goes where, but that really isn't a problem, it's too simple to need step by step instructions. So far it's sturdy enough, looks good, and I'll be getting a headboard to put on it, which BTW there is slits/holes whatever they might call it to install the headboard. I would definitely say this frame is good enough, I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just to put a serta fiber mattress on it without paying the ridiculous price for the bottom box springs, or whatever they might be for a fiber bed, and it did a good job of that! It is true that with the frame being 18 inches, and the mattress being 13 inches, it's rather high, but my knees feel better when I get up from the bed, and it's not so high I can't reach the ground with any problems, I'm just 5ft 4in. I would recommend it! I've included pictures of the frame after we finished assembling it, and how the bed looks on it. Read more
