A Throne Fit for a Tiny Queen

Cin MMay 19, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Potty training is not for the faint of heart, but the Primlect 2-in-1 potty training seat is the kind of small parenting win that deserves a standing ovation—or at least a self-standing seat. Assembly: Bless whoever wrote the instructions. Clear, simple, and no Allen wrench-induced rage. I had it set up in minutes, no power tools or bribes required. Design & Usability: It’s lightweight but sturdy—my 2-year-old can move it from the toilet to the sink all by herself, which she now insists on doing like it’s a full-time job. It gives her that “I do it!” independence while keeping my floors dry and my back unbent. Bonus Feature I Didn’t Know I Needed: It stands on its own. Yes. No tipping, no sliding, no awkward leaning-against-the-wall-then-clattering-to-the-floor-at-2am surprises. I have another brand that constantly flops over like a bored toddler—this one stays put and behaves better than most of my furniture. Bottom line: If you’re in the potty training trenches and want something functional, easy to clean, kid-movable, and miraculously self-standing, this seat is it. No sliding, no drama, and no “Mommm it feeeeelllll!” in sight. Read more

Non-slip and easy assemble.

Samantha KeelyFebruary 21, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Easy to assemble, love the green color, my nephew is happy with it. The seat doesn’t move when sat on, it seems like good quality and my nephew said it was comfy. Storage is a little tricky for us because of the size of our bathroom but it’s still nice. I will say that it would be cool if the toilet seat was also green but otherwise definitely recommend it!!! Best seat reducer/ladder yet!

Cyrissa PierceJanuary 13, 2026✓ Verified purchase

My son is 19mo and has been potty trained since 18mo old. He was so excited to use it. If the box didn't say to lift adult seat first, I wouldn't have known, it's not in the instructions. It can slide, but it doesn't while he's climbing it, only if he pushes it or you bump it. It's kind of wide for a small butt, you can see my son sinking into it if he sits far enough back, I may end up just using the ladder with his other seat reducer. But he can get on no problem and his boy private parts don't get stuck on the hump and it blocks his stream well. First thing he did when his dad got home was show him his new toilet ladder! It was hilarious. Ordered a 2nd one. Im not sure any toilet seat/ladder deserves 5 stars, but it's sturdier than most I've seen and folds easy, easy to put together. Read more

Lightweight but very sturdy

RaychelMMarch 8, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Very sturdy and doesn’t shake when my toddlers climb on it. It’s lights and easy to move around for them if needed. We did not attach the seat because we had our own. We use the steps for the toilet and to wash hands. The pink color is super cute. It doesn’t fold up but that isn’t a huge deal for us. It’s plastic, so easy to wipe off but not slippery. Read more

Awesome potty training and step stool combo

GFlewellingFebruary 1, 2026✓ Verified purchase

This is a great potty training seat that doubles as a step stool. The training seat has a smooth adjustable height to fit any toilet. My 2 year old loves climbing onto her “big potty” using this training seat. The seat is small enough for toddler bottoms so they won’t fall through, and has padding on it so they will be comfortable enough to sit no matter how long it takes for them to do their business. The seat is easy to wipe down, and better yet, it folds out of the way to use as a stool so she can wash her hands. Read more

Unstable

ashlynFebruary 4, 2026✓ Verified purchase

It’s a little bit unstable for my 90th percentile toddler. The bottom step bows quite a bit when he steps on it. And when using it as a step stool at the sink it tends to tip. Also doesn’t quite go low enough for our toilet with the height adjustments. So it’s wobbly and shifts when using it as a potty seat. Not something I feel I can let my toddler use unsupervised. But overall it works as a training seat and it’s nice for my toddler to be able to have something to rest his feet on while using the toilet. Read more
