This is the second one of these step stools our family has purchased, they are very slip resistant, lightweight, and a great height for reaching sinks. We have to use a shorter one though at the toilet for when our son stands to use the toilet. They are also very easy to wipe clean. The reason for 4 stars for sturdiness is because since it is so lightweight it can easily tip if your toddler is wiggling around at the sink. When my son is brushing his teeth I usually have to keep my foot on the bottom step to keep him from tipping it over, but I must say he is a very active boy!! This stool is fabulous! It is very easy to maneuver and the steps are perfectly placed and the balance is proportioned just right. This thing will not tip over on your kid (we've unfortunately had a couple of those). the surface is grippy enough for little feet but slick enough to be very washable. This is a sturdy yet lightweight step stool. It's easy to move around the bathroom since it has little openings on the side to assist with carrying. The only issue I see is that the first step is pretty narrow, so I don't think we will be able to use it for as long as I had hoped since my daughter will outgrow it. Read more

I bought this for my one year old and well for myself. I was having a hard time lifting him to wash his hands.
