I ordered this mini skirt for my daughter in a size 2, she is 5'1" and weighs about 98lbs. It fit her perfectly, they are sized accurately. The fabric is a rough filling type fabric, it did come very wrinkled and with the type of fabric you had to use an iron on very low setting to iron the wrinkles out. I tried just throwing it in the dryer first, but that did not get many of the wrinkles out. The stitching appears to be very well done and strong. My daughter said that it was very comfortable and it looked really good on her and was not too short. It has a black zipper on the side that worked how it should. Its a very well made mini skirt. Princess Polly Women's Selby Mini Skirt (Black, Size 6) After debating between a size 4 and a size 6, I decided to go with the 6, and I’m glad I did—it fits just right. The fabric has a linen-like texture, but it is worth noting that it is quite sheer. While you can see through the material, I plan on wearing this primarily with tights or pantyhose, so the sheerness isn't a deal breaker for me. This is a Ladies Black Shelby Mini Skirt. The skirt is made out of a very thin material. I’m not happy with the quality of the s jug . In my opinion, it looks cheaply made. I don’t like however fits either. It’s not very flattering and it’s extremely short. I would not recommend you spend your money on this skirt based on the low quality of the material. Read more
Very sexy little mini skirt, but doesn’t quite work for polite company if you’re tall. I am 5’10” and this thing is a micro-mini on me. If I wore this in public without bike shorts on I think I would probably be arrested. That said, it CAN be worn with bike shorts to make it decent and it is still a very cute little skirt. It’s a very flattering shape and (other than the length vs height situation) it fits very well. The zipper is smooth and overall it feels like a well made skirt for the price. I will get plenty of use out of this with the appropriate precautions. If you are tall, just be aware that you’ll need to wear something under this if you plan to wear it outside the house. If you’re shorter or even average height, I don’t think you’d need to take any extraordinary measures. Read more
The Selby Mini Skirt fits true to size and the quality is nice, but the length is definitely something to be aware of. The front is a decent mini length, however the back is very short—much shorter than the front. I’m honestly a little nervous my butt cheeks will be out if I move the wrong way 😅. For reference, I’m 5'6" and 107 lbs, so it’s not a body-shape issue—it’s just how the skirt is designed. Super cute, but I’d recommend it more for standing events or styling carefully. Read more
Fashionable and lovely mini skirt. Black in color. Fabric is a linen feel and very comfortable. Did arrive somewhat wrinkled and it will definitely be an item you may need to steam or press. I normally wear a size 4/6 ordered a 6 and it is TTS. Has zipper on the side and it works well. I’m 5’2” and it’s typical length for a mini. Hits me at mid thigh. Very lovely construction and flattering. Potential downsides would be that it can wrinkle easily and it is handwash only. Read more
