all year around wear with tights or not- love! Read more
Very pretty and easy to style, but the material is a bit see-through although it feels good quality, the zipper is very small and invisible, it is true to size, not very practical with no pockets, a bit overpriced in my opinion. Read more
I love this skirt! It is a lightweight skirt to make it comfortable even in warmer weather, but it isn't see-through. The fit was true to size and I didn't have any issues. It is a 'mini skirt', but it is a nice versatile length where I can wear it out, or I can wear it to work with tights depending on how I style and position it. I've now washed it several times and it holds up well and doesn't have any issues with pilling. The zipper also functions perfectly after multiple washes. In general, I'm super happy with this skirt and I think it is very worth the price. There hasn't been any shrinking or fading with it either, so I truly have. no complaints (and I'm picky with my skirts!) Read more
Love this! Just note that you should size up, as the sizing for Princess Polly pieces tends small, and their natural fiber (cotton, linen, etc.) clothing tends to have very little stretch. I'm 5'2 and 103lb -- I'm a size 2. I'm petite and borderline underweight. I still found this uncomfortably tight around my midsection. Besides barely being able to zip it up all the way, I really love this and think it's well made. The fabric is totally opaque, and it really feels like linen. It's a great quality basic, with a good zipper, good structuring, and good craftsmanship. The style is simple and definitely more spring/summer than fall/winter. Overall, I think this is a great skirt at a great value -- just with the sizing caveat. Read more
Cute but too short especially in the back nearly showing too much. Uess you wear shorts or bommers underneath I would not suggest this mini skirt. May run a little smaller. Read more

I’m pretty obsessed with this Princess Polly mini skirt. I was a little apprehensive about it because I worried that the length would be way too short for my comfort zone, and normally, I would say it would be, but this skirt rides up less than any mini skirt I think I’ve ever worn (I have relatively big hips and have always found that short skirts have a real tendency to ride up quickly with wear). Even though this is definitely a true mini skirt, from a functional standpoint, I felt like I gained two inches of fabric just by virtue of it staying in place, length wise, throughout the day. I don’t know if this is a function of the cut or what, but I was pretty floored. Like I said, it’s definitely a true mini skirt, but it’s a classic style and something timeless that can be worn with almost any top and dressed up or down (and made sexier or more conservative/everyday appropriate) depending on what you pair it with. The skirt itself is nice quality—very well made (even aside from whatever incredible design Magic keeps it from riding up) and it fit true to size (I usually wear a 4 in bottoms and that’s what I got here and it fit great—snug enough, but not too tight). Overall, I’m a huge fan of the skirt and can’t recommend it enough. Read more

This mini skirt is sized true to the listing measurements. It has no stretch, so make sure to check the size chart carefully before ordering to ensure a proper fit. The zipper is standard quality for a skirt - nothing exceptional but perfectly functional. Note that there's no liner included, so plan your undergarments accordingly. The material is a thin linen-like fabric that's better suited for warmer months. It's breathable and lightweight, making it comfortable for spring and summer wear. I really like the way this skirt drapes. It's a bit longer than some other mini skirts I own, which actually makes it more versatile. I can walk and bend over without worrying about my behind showing, which is a huge plus. This modest length while still being a mini makes it appropriate for more situations and gives me confidence wearing it for different occasions. Overall, this is a well-made, practical mini skirt that balances style with wearability. The slightly longer length sets it apart from typical minis in the best way possible. Read more

I told myself not to put this in the dryer and then of course put it in the dryer not realizing. So it may have shrunk a bit but not terribly. I got the size 4 and it fit well, but it is definitely very short in that if I bend over it exposes everything. You could probably get away with it with tights or even very thing shorts underneath. I think if it was an inch or two longer it'd be great, but I don't know if it shrunk up by putting it in the dryer. It's a well-tailored skirt and flattering otherwise. The fabric is soft an thin. Minimal coverage especially if you've got a booty like me. Read more
