The best! My daughter is 7 and loves doing gymnastics in the house. She was able to get her back walkover the first day with this mat. It’s the perfect size for her. Exactly what we needed for our home gym! The slope is not too steep but still provides plenty of assistance for new skills. We use it for our 6- and 8-year-olds and it's plenty long. Bought for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. I am a varsity cheer coach and it is large enough to use with teenagers if desired. Not quite as large as one you would find at a cheer gym or gymnastics class, but it still a great size for the price. Read more

My daughter was hoping for wider cheese mat like they use in gymnastics class but it's working for most things. She's nervous because it's smaller than what she uses in class and feels like she'll fall off. So far it's holding up nicely to the light use. I meant to order the non-folding version because I thought the fold would impact the integrity of the mat. Sharing this feedback because as I accidentally ordered the folding version, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed that the fold does not impact the quality and I actually prefer it now for easy storage. As a gymnast and gymnastics coach with 30+ years combine experience, my conclusion is you get what you pay for… Do I think the sewing job on this mat is comical? Yes. Do I think it could be tapered more? Yes. Do I think it’s too hard? No. Would I recommend it to a student’s parent? Probably not. Do I think it is perfectly suited for my own 6 year old to practice bridge kick overs at home and she’ll outgrow it before it takes a serious beating and falls apart? Absolutely, 1,000% yes.
