Remote controller to a proper controller
I was ready to step up from remote IR controller to proper PTZ camera controller. It was a breeze to connect with two of the cameras I tested via IP addresses. Though I am still learning to assign cameras and other functions, I like joystick and zoom functionality to move around and focus the lens. The built quality is good. I think the design can be better in the future but it doesn't impact the overall functionality as a PTZ controller. It does not come with controller software but Prisual website has knowledge base articles and partner software/plugins to download. It may be more expensive than IR remote but I believe the controller is really worth for professionals. Read more

The help to set up everything this is the his product is amazing, have now used 2 for church applications. The quality is that of several thousand dollar units, so it is priced very well. The tech support is amazing, they are extremely helpful and I will keep using this product for all future installations. Highly recommend this product. interoperability is a real highlight
We purchased a pair of PTZ cameras months ago from a different manufacturer that did not make a joystick controller. After using them for a while, I purchased a different joystick controller on Amazon that appeared to have good features. Set it up and while it did connect the lag was so significant I found it impossible to use for following action at events we were streaming. We bought this one and it has worked great so far. The ONVIF connection works well and is the only way to connect with our cameras that we already owned. Just bought a Prisual 30x camera and connected that via VISCA and it works even better. I wish I had bought Prisual cameras to start, but live and learn. Read more
Even better with the latest firmware
From day one the joystick controller was a nice step up from some homegrown code I'd written - it allowed me to use a game controller joystick to do the same job. This controller makes it much easier to manage all 5 cameras that I typically use (it supports up to 7). The new firmware adds auto-discovery and easier control of auto-tracking for cameras that support that feature. The customer support was extremely responsive, answering email questions about the firmware file locations over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and they offered to help with the process through TeamViewer if I wanted to.
