I got this bikini trimmer for manscaping. My wife's favorite color is purple, so I figured if it didn't work for me, I could just give it to her. This comes mostly charged and displays the charge level on the screen. You can lock the device to prevent accidentally turning it on, which is nice if you keep it in a drawer or even if you travel, because who wants a bag that's vibrating when going through airport security? To lock/unlock, you just hold the power button and wait for the 3-second countdown. There is a removable guide comb if you want to leave a little hair. This is a basic trimmer, so there is no adjustment as far as how long to leave it, just a simple comb or no comb. There are two settings: Trim and Shave. The trim mode is louder and sounds like it's running on high. The shave mode not only sounds more like a low setting. I find that without the guide comb attached, I can actually get as close as I want to, using just the Trim mode. I did test the shave mode though (remove the cap and it's at the bottom) and it does work to make a trimmed area very smooth. It just think there needs to be a little more power behind the shave mode as it seems to take a long time to make even the already trimmed areas smooth. Read more
I got this for my partner who has been longing for a new trimmer and she was quite happy with this! She said it's slim and easy to hold and due to its simplistic design, there really isn't anything complex about using it. It does long and short hair trimming using both ends of the trimmer so its pretty versatile and there really isn't anything to complain about. It can basically tackle most jobs. This is by no means a premium product with a luxury experience but it is something that my partner was able to bring on her travel trips and have a decent shaving experience. She has used it in the showers before although she doesn't try to get it completely wet as she is afraid of any type of potential damage to the product but it hasn't had any issues so far. Read more
This bikini trimmer is light weight and fits perfectly in my hand and gets in little nooks and crannies with ease. It features two ends, one with a trimmer and one with a shaver. It says it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and I don’t have any issues using it on my arms or face but when used on the back of my thighs it leaves big red scratches on my skin, please see photos. I haven’t attempted any areas more sensitive than my thighs because I’m terrified. It does shave down the hair, and I love the trimmer side for getting the random long hairs on my arms. Read more
I have never owned a legit bikini trimmer before, so I was excited to give this new grooming tool a try. It came with nearly a full charge, so mine was ready to go. It comes with a plastic shield guard over the blades and that was easy to slide on and off. There is an unlock/lock feature that you engage by holding down the power button for five seconds. This is handy so that it doesn't accidentally get turned on while traveling by getting knocked around. I have been primarily using the trimmer side, and it works well for trimming and you can use it on your arms as well. It isn't really any quieter than any other electric razer, so you can definitely hear it when it is in use. It comes with a handy brush tool for easy cleaning in between trims. Overall, it is quick and painless, and a lot less daunting than waxing or using scissors to trim, not to mention cheaper than salon appointments. I chose this Bikini Trimmer because I was tired of getting razor burns and bumps every time I used a traditional manual razor. The 2-in-1 design is actually really convenient. It is much gentler than I expected and I haven't had a single nick or pull even when I am in a rush. Nice accessories and good quality The device itself is lightweight and fits comfortably in my hand so it is easy to maneuver around tricky angles. I have used it both dry and in the shower and it seems to work just as well either way. It doesn't give as perfectly smooth of a shave as a brand new manual blade would but it gets very close without all the irritation which is a trade off I am happy to make. The durability seems good. The battery life has been solid so far and I have only had to charge it once in the last month. My only small complaint is that it is a little loud when it is running so it is not exactly discreet if you are trying to be quiet. It is also a bit of a pain to clean the hair out of the smaller attachment but it comes with a tiny brush that helps. For the price it is a much better alternative to expensive waxing appointments. Works fantastic, high quality feel while still being lightweight, super close shave without causing irritation, charges quickly and lasts a long time before needing a recharge, comes with blade covers too. Having 2 different types of shavers on opposite ends is a really smart design. Very convenient for travel, fits neatly in my purse without taking up too much space.
