This chalk works well for climbing at an indoor rock gym. I have not tried it outside. It's not my favorite, because it's a little thicker and takes longer to dry than my normal brand. Although the plus is that it has staying power. Even after I wash my hands there is usually a little chalk left. I also like that the small carabiner hooks nicely to my climbing harness. Read more

I purchased this since it was advertised as “no mess”, but it’s just as messy as regular chalk. It’ll get all over your clothes and weights and machinery. The only difference is you don’t have to use a chalk bucket. It’s liquid when you apply, but dries as a chalk. Drying takes a few seconds and was tough to clean off inbetween sets. It did help keep my hands dry but did not really help me with grip which was what I was hoping for. I think I’ll just need more grip strengthening exercises personally. I was excited about this but it really didn’t do what I bought it to do. Will still keep it in case. Read more
