These are awesome for traveling! No more toothpaste all over the inside of the toiletry bag. I wasn't sure how chewing my toothpaste would taste, but these are actually OK. The watermelon is a little sweet when you first bite into it, and it's the texture and consistency of an antacid table, but once you start brushing it's a mild mint with some nice foaming action. It made my breath minty fresh for hours! Win! I was wearing chapstick when I brushed and the toothpaste foam left a white residue behind that my normal brand doesn't, but it was easy enough to wipe away. The nano hydroxyapatite inclusion is appealing for enamel support, especially for those avoiding fluoride. It is tough to say how effective these are overall, but I can say I have not noticed any whitening effect as of yet. It definitely helps freshen breath and there are certainly no negative effects. This arrived in its own official product packaging and the box was sealed. The glass jar was also sealed for hygiene. The tablets are quite small, a tablet would fit inside the circle of a one cent coin, to give you an idea of the size. I wanted to try these out as I have never really used any tablet form for my teeth before. The instructions state that you chew the tablet and then brush your teeth. I will say it felt like the tablet was too much in my mouth once chewed and I was worried about swallowing the contents. There is nothing on the packaging or the listing stating not to swallow so I am not sure if this would be harmful when consumed. I could taste the watermelon which wasn't too over powering as I chewed the tablet. After brushing my teeth they looked and felt cleaned and polished. Cleaning my teeth this way feels very foreign to me, it just felt very odd but that is only my opinion. It does not state on the packaging how many tablets there are in this jar but there appears to be a good amount. These tablets have a long shelf life according to the box which is around 2 years. This type of product is compact and convenient to carry anywhere and the other good point is that this is fluoride free. I do think the price is a little on the high side when comparing this to other alternative toothpastes or cleaning agents. It is also worth noting that there is no real information as to where this product is actually made, I checked both the listing and the packaging. The box does state that the manufacturer is based in China which is probably where this comes from which is a little off putting for me. I really like the direction they went with this. Fluoride free and using nano hydroxyapatite is a big plus for me. The 5 percent concentration is solid and I like that they are focusing on enamel support instead of just whitening claims. The probiotic and prebiotic angle is interesting too, especially if you are trying to support a healthier oral environment instead of just blasting everything with harsh ingredients. The glass packaging and tablet format are also a win. It feels thoughtful and more sustainable, and the chew brush rinse setup makes it super easy to travel with. No leaks in your bag is always a bonus. That said, I am honestly confused about the artificial coloring. If this is supposed to be a health focused, enamel safe, eco conscious product, why include something like Red 40 at all? It just feels unnecessary. For a brand that is clearly trying to position itself as clean and forward thinking, that choice stands out in a bad way.
