I got this for my 18-year-old dog to help her with her digestion and absorption of nutrients from her food. She does not seem to be as flatulent as she was before using this. She looks forward to these and considers them to be treats and eats them out of my hand. I'm not sure why the tweezers were included because I was unable to manipulate them and anyway to pick up one of these supplements. The product was shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. I will start by saying that I do not know if this particular supplement works. Actually I do not know of any of them work. One can hope though, right? My dog (a very large working breed) likes them though and they don’t seem to have any negative side effects in him. He is energetic, his stool looks normal and he definitely is drawn to them so I know at least they smell/ taste good to him. Are these bites better than just giving your dog yogurt? I do not know. But he likes them and they are priced competitively compared to similar other bites. One comment i have is the tweezers- why include them? I see no reason. I got this probiotic chews for my Papillon dog, who is eight years old and weighs about 16 pounds. So, we give her one piece a day and she loves it so far. I don’t notice any changes in her eating or bathroom habits, etc. I didn’t notice tweezers at first, but that’s because they were buried deeper in the can. We don’t really need the tweezers, it’s just an extra hassle, as totally fine to just give them to your dog by hand. This is sold at good price point, for 120 pieces, this is a full four months supply for my little dog. But honestly, I don’t think it would make much of a difference in my dog’s overall health. I would really appreciate if this supplement had more transparency about where it was manufactured and what exact ingredients were used. I see the package has stated it has billions of those probiotics and digestive enzymes, omega-3, etc. But we all know those ingredients are usually quite expensive and valuable. I don’t see any proof that this product contains exactly what it claims. They are mentioning some third-party testing, but there is no information or proof of it.
