I thought I was getting a well made (professional) tire repair kit and was disappointed to see the sloppy manufacturing of the contents in this kit. First off, the razor blade; immediately throw it in the trash or recycle. It is worthless in that it is so cheap it fell apart simply trying to open it up. This is a huge safety concern, as it would cut you very easily. The nail remover for the removal of the puncture item is okay, but is substituted for pliers. What if if the nail head is gone? What if it is a screw or something else that the nail remover cannot grasp? Pliers work for most anything, including nails. It's not like we are removing a nail from a wood 2 x 4. The reamer and tire insertion tool are both made of cheap cast iron that is chrome plated. I had another tire repair kit, so I combined them both to come up with a better kit. Okay I'm 51 and have plugged more tires then I care to count in my driving career. Having spent a lot of time in construction, I cannot count how many times I've punctured a tire with roofing nails and screws. Watch a YouTube video. Whole process takes less than 5 minutes. Why pay a shop $30-$50 every single time? For the price, you cannot beat this kit! It all stays organized so you don't lose anything. It has 15 plug strings! That's enough to plug 15 different punctures, which will likely cover your average person a very long time! Plus you can plug tires for your friends and still have enough strings for you next puncture. It comes with all the tools you need. Cleaning tool, plugging tool and trim knife. All you have to do is clean the puncture with the file tool, put a string halfway through the eye of the plug tool, add the glue (provided), shove it in the hole, and jerk it out. Then use the knife to cut off the excess plug. Easy Peasy! Add in the valve stems, valve cores and pressure guage... You can see why I gave this item 5 stars (which I don't usually don't do). This kit exceeded my expectations, just opening the initial box felt like i punching above the weight of patch kit. The main box had a very premium look and feel to it. After opening the kit I found it to be very well organized with all the main tools that you would need to patch a flat included, plus some you may not normally use. The plugging tools felt very sturdy, the reamer was semi sharp. They did not come with spare adapters for the reamer or inserter and that was the only thing that I could find to improve. The spare valves and removal tool, pliers, and blade make this a one stop shop for minor tire repairs with a very premium feel and well organized within the case. Read more
