This device, particularly for the price, is excellent. We have a much more expensive famous German brand IPL device (5x the price of this one) unit at home that worked for a few weeks and then the performance got very bad. Sent that one in for a replacement and then the replacement started doing the same thing. So far, this unit has worked very well. At this point, the longevity of the unit is unknown.
