I have a limited-space home gym that shares my garage, so I make wide use of resistance bands and have gone through a few different sets over the years. My last set was latex, which I liked at first, but after some use they stretched out and lost their original resistance. With this TPE set, I haven’t noticed that happening to any noticeable degree. They’re the standard width I’ve had with other sets, but without the strong chemical smell some bands have right out of the package. I like the wide range of poundage included. I use the 50–125 lb band for floor leg presses, assisted pull-ups, and other heavy, large-muscle exercises. These were recommended to me by Amazon Vine. I’m in the process of building a home gym and I don’t have any exercise bands, so I thought it would be a great way to get some. Prior to these bands, I had some more of the tube type ones those eventually broke down and so these are a great replacement. I do not have anything negative to say about this product; the packaging was fine. It doesn’t need to be fancy because it’s just some exercise bands. The bands themselves are of good quality. The only thing I don’t like is the branding on them all of them. Except for the thinnest yellow one, they have the company name. I don’t think it needs it. I would rather if they were completely unbranded, but that’s just how I like my stuff. One thing I thought that was nice is that it comes with a little door attachment so you could essentially work out anywhere. The quality of the bands themselves, seems similar to the ones that I use at physical therapy. I intend to use them for the same exercises at home. At my physical therapy, we have a power rack and that’s where we attach them. At home I use my treadmill since it’s the heaviest piece of equipment that I have. It worked fine for the red and black bands. the green and purple bands are quite strong, so those might be better to use under your feet for doing squats or whatever. Another thing I like about these versus the latex tubes that I used to have is that there is no smell to these, which is nice. If you’re in the market for some exercise bands I think these would be a good choice. If nothing else they seem to be the equivalent of others. These days, you have a lot of options when it comes to fitness, especially in the areas of building muscle, muscle toning, and losing weight. Weightlifting is a great option for all of these. They are high quality, and they step up in weight for very light resistance, to very heavy. You could also combine bands if needed. The whole package you receive will get you up and going almost immediately, while taking up almost no space when you finish and store them. Along with the bands, you receive a door mount and a storage bag. You'll also receive an exercise chart with many different exercises with your goals in mind.
