After we moved into our forever home, there were a few things that I wanted to modernize. Two items in the master bathroom were the bell shaped light sets with green accents, which emphasized the green bowls used for sinks. These lights are awesome don't listen to the other reviews where people don't know how to screw on the retaining ring for the shade. if they cross threaded it it's their fault. All ceramic light fixtures are like That. difficult to get threaded properly but easy to screw on. The metal is nice and a good heavy weight. everything for installation was provided except screws to mount the metal support bracket to the electric box. We also used our own wire nuts rather than the little ones provided. This is an excellent light and definitely a great light at a great price.. the mounting bracket comes with a second rotating piece so you can get your light level. met expectations. The mounting screws are way too long. 1.5" . They need to be .75" You can cut them or just pick up 2 at your local hardware store. 8-32 x .75" they were $0.14 each. The sconces themselves are great. I installed them in my living room; they look nice. The instructions, on the other hand, are AWFUL. I found a YouTube video which explained the process of correctly installing the screws that hold the fixture to the mounting plate. Otherwise, these are good value for the money. The shade is also long enough that a standard A19 shape light bulb will fit without poking over the top of the shade (which was not the case on the sconces these replaced, where I was stuck using small, dim A15 bulbs). Now that I've struggled through the installation, I'm happy with the fixtures. Progress - I implore you...rewrite your instructions or design a better mounting plate. The vanity light was at a good price. It is held in place to the light junction box so you want to ensure that your light box is securely installed to support this fixture. My junction box was not secure as the builders did not attach the junction box to anything and was held in place by the wires. I did not know about that as the light fixture this one replaced was a Hollywood type vanity light fixture that was 48 inches wide that attached to the drywall separately. The light fixture is not overly heavy and the glass shades are thin which helps keep the fixture light. I am happy with this light fixture that is able to replace the old one and give a more modern look. Read more

Installation was a breeze, but I was doing a simple fixture swap and was able to re-use the old mounting plate screws (this fixture does not come with its own). My old lights were crappy, ugly builder-grade things, and these feel much better quality than those. Replaced multiple outdated 3-light fixtures with these 4-light fixtures, and it makes a huge difference to have that one extra light. Plus the streamlined black design matches with my other bathroom fixtures perfectly (black towel bars of the same shape). Couldn't be happier with them, though the price fluctuates very frequently, and I wish I'd watched it a little longer before purchasing. Overall, super pleased with this purchase. Read more

Okay, so 3 built-in LED fixtures later, I went with this one because I can use LED bulbs. The others (with built-in, non-serviceable LEDs) were just too dim, or the color was off, or they were just built cheaply. This one is nice and I can replace the bulbs if they're not perfect, they blow out, with ones that I know are dimmable, or with the brightest ones I can find.
