This thing is awesome

michaelNovember 22, 2025

The media could not be loaded. I got this tool for my daughter to practice her swing, tempo and impact in the house. I just opened the box and figured Id give it a try. This thing is awesome. First of all, watch the video on the Amazon product page. they also have a pamphlet that explains how to use it..but the video is easier to understand. There is also a QR code to direct you to a video...it directed me to an app, I have not downloaded the app yet, but I assume its just some instructional videos in an app. The molded grip is nice and comfortable. The club head is just rubber and angled. but the rest of the trainer has some good weight to it, it feels like a club and not a light weight toy. The 2 key "trainer" parts of this tool are the "impact ball" magnetic slider mechanism and the "contact ball". I tried showing this in a video using just my right arm (sorry other hand had to hold the phone). When you backswing slowly the "impact ball" (which is a metal ring that slides up and down the shaft) will slide and make a click sound at the top of your swing, the video says to learn to pause for a second at the top of the swing. then when you swing the impact ball will slide and make a loud click at the point of impact. I found this VERY useful as the click sound was happening prior to the point of impact meaning the speed of my swing was happening too early and I was not generating the most force at impact. The listening cue is really awesome and it forces you to adjust your swing so that the CLICK happens where the club head would impact the ball. This is VERY cool. The final part is the contact ball, this is a small foam ball and is supposed to let you know if your arms and wrists are straight at impact. When the club head should impact the ball and you hear the click, the foam contact ball should be in contact with your left arm. (this tool is for right handed golfers..and I do not think it can be adjusted for a left handed golfer). If the contact foam ball is not in contact with your left arm at impact or it contacts your right arm you are flexing your wrist. I feel like this was the main point of this product...to prevent people from flexing their wrists...but honestly I find the impact slider ball much more helpful...dare I say "impactful". It really helps with the upswing tempo and learning to adjust your swing so that the greatest force is at impact and not sooner. I cant wait to get some feedback from my daughter on this tool...shes a Varsity HS golfer and I feel like a few mins a day of this tool will keep her sharp in the off season. Read more

An interesting swing trainer to use anytime, anywhere

RBrognaraDecember 21, 2025

Any golfer will tell you there are a million gadgets out there claiming to help your game. This trainer is not new or original, but I think it's worth a look for golfers who want to practice basic swing mechanics anytime, anywhere. The trainer has 2 parts to it: a weighted collar that slides along the chrome plated shaft, and a small rubber ball mounted at the top of the grip. The concept is simple; to move the collar down the shaft, you need the proper "snap" at the bottom of your swing. The collar is held by a magnet just under the grip; to release it, you need to snap your wrists as you swing. Novice golfers typically swing very robotically, thinking they just need to hold the club still as they swing back and then through, hitting the ball. This causes them to keep their elbows and especially their wrists still, trying to control impact. If you watch any video on proper swing mechanics, you'll see the correct swing is a fluid motion, with shoulder turns, elbows and wrists that bend, etc. One part of that motion is "releasing" the club head last, i.e. letting your wrists fold at the top, then snapping them at the bottom, sending the club into the ball. Think of the motion to snap a towel; to do it best, you bend both elbow and wrist and snap your wrist right at the end. That's principally what this trainer helps you with. If you just swing without any snap of the wrists, the weighted collar stays put against the magnet. Correctly releasing the club head at the bottom shoots the collar to the end of the shaft, making a loud *whack* sound for feedback. This trainer also helps a little with proper swing path. You start with the collar at the bottom with the rubber head. Taking your backswing causes the collar to slide down into the magnet. Releasing the collar from the magnet’s grip requires the "snap" at the bottom. Then on your follow-through, the collar returns to the magnet. The creator says this movement and associated sounds help with timing as well. The other part of the trainer – the rubber ball – is there to promote the idea of your hands being ahead of the ball at impact. This is a more difficult concept to master, especially for beginners. Having your hands ahead of the ball creates “compression”; this is an advanced concept that I won’t explain here, you can look it up. At impact, the ball should be touching your right forearm; this means your hands are slightly ahead of the club head when the collar hits bottom. I think this part of the trainer is not as important as the weighted collar, as this perfect “compression” position is hard to get right. All in all, I think this is a fine trainer to practice simple mechanics anywhere. Read more

Helps train golf swings like Korean golfer.

AndrewFebruary 13, 2026

This golf swing trainer is actually really cool. Its shaped in a way you cant swing the wrong way or it bumps your arm. Its lightweight and a good size. Its grippy so you wont throw it if your practicing inside, it wont slip out of your hands. Its very easy to use and should help your golf swing like a pro. Read more

Not the best, but might help some.

WACombsJanuary 7, 2026

It took a little while to get the hang of using this, especially since the directions weren’t very clear on how to use it and the link for further instructions online weren’t very good either. It’s hard to use at first, but like they say “practice makes perfect” or something like that. The material quality seem decent, but it’s marked on the carton and instructions like it’s easy to break.
