Color is off but shoes are great
These are very comfortable and very warm. They are genuine leather and the lining is also real wool. The laces are long and strong. They fit my size correctly. My only beef is I ordered green but they aren't even the slightest bit green. The lining is dyed a faint khaki green, but the leather is a brown shade. The box itself was labeled TAUPE. There is no taupe color in the listing, so I think the seller chose to call this color green, maybe because they are supposed to match the lining; but they are taupe. The shape is not a true chukka boot because they have a large rounded toe and a full tongue. On my feet they look almost like an Australian boot, very much rounded and a bit bulky. But I like them. The first time I wore them outside my feet were very hot, so since then I've been wearing them without socks in 10 degree F weather and they are very warm and comfortable. The outer sole looks like plastic, but they haven't been slippery on any surface. The stitching seems sturdy and I think they'll hold up. Read more
