It starts by being beautifully packaged. It comes in an opaque reusable zippered bag. Inside are care instructions, a sample of the silk and instructions on how you can use it to confirm that it is real silk, and even a mesh laundry bag to protect it in the washer! I recommend saving the sample. Silk sheets can get holes and rips, especially from toe nails, rather easily. In the past (other brands) I have used similar samples to patch the holes and get more life from the sheet. The sheet itself is lovely. It is a beautiful silk satin with a high sheen. It makes it cool and slippery to sleep on, which I prefer. Yet the underside has a more matte texture that has kept it in place on the mattress. A perfect combination! I have been using silk sheets for 20 years since I first visited some well known silk factories in China and I have to say the PROMEED silk sheets and pillowcases are some of the nicest I have owned. They look and feel luxurious. I have no regrets spending more for an upscale sleep experience, even though my set was actually more affordable than others like Lilysilk. Don’t buy. Good at first but didn’t even last 2 years after following all care instructions. The sheets tear extremely easy. Only used silk approved detergent and washed on delicate every time. Way overpriced for a product that I would need to purchase every 2 years. Read more

Great addition to our bedding. We noticed much cooling effects on day1. The deep pockets was a plus in keeping the sheets tucked in place. I have washed it in delicate cycle in the mesh bag with silk detergent, it came out great. The fact that the silk is made at 23 Mom adds to its durability. Why we waited so long to get one is beyond me. Although, the price is a little steep & caused quite a bit of shock at first, it’s worth it in the end. I highly recommend this seller. Read more

I can suggest that you get no less than 23 momme, and unless you have very soft feet and smooth toenails you should wear socks to bed!
