I have tried several minimalist wallets over the years but always returned to my traditional wallet. My luck may have changed. I have had the Proof Wallet for several weeks now and it just feels right. I carry in my front pocket, and it is so small and compact that I'm always checking to see that it is there. The nice thing about this kind of wallet is it makes you think about what you actually need, rather that carrying everything around like it's a portable file cabinet. It carries as many cards as my traditional wallet with ease. The cards are tightly held, so there is no worry that they will fall out like with the loose pockets of my traditional wallet. I was worried about carrying cash, but a bunch of bills will fold up and tuck under the outer band with ease. Big bills hide out of sight with the cards. I looked at this wallet and thought it overpriced but I saw it on sale and decided to give it a try. Based upon the product description the wallet does not come with the multi-tool but I found that the key multi-tool was in the box with the wallet. This meant I was able to grab $150 retail wallet and multi-tool during Amazon deal days for $80, that's 50% off plus tax which made it a better value. The wallet is well made and the multi-tool is a cool little item. I had purchased a minimalist wallet a few years ago for a lot less but my old wallet doesn't have the same material, leather and avionic grade aluminum. The better materials do make it more aesthetically pleasing than most other wallets of the same type. Is it really be worth $125? For me personally, no. But getting the wallet and multi-tool for under $80 has better value. The wallet is well made and the lifetime guarantee is great. You need to decide for yourself what you're willing to pay for it. Very nice. Just slightly wider and exactly as tall as the cards it holds. This was pretty pricey for a wallet, but I do like it quite a bit. I’m no longer fearful a card will ever fall out, which I can’t say about the traditional wallets I’ve used. Read more
