If you don't mind looking a little tactical, these are great pants for their utility. Durable fabric. Color stays long. Not as dark as you might think, not too dark. Ties at bottom you can narrow the end or not. Medium is barely 35 inch at the waist, but fits per guidelines. Consider the next size up if you're 35 waist, but it's a 4 inch jump. The sides have adjustment straps for the waist. I'm replacing some 6 year old versions with slight wear and tear. Might be a little hot in summer but otherwise OK. Seems a good value. Long works for a 6 foot tall person. Sizing guidelines seem accurate. Update: I think I prefer medium as a 35 inch waist, although sometimes it can be very slightly tight. The large, while more comfortable, has a lot of extra around the waist. The pull straps don't stay pulled. Not a big deal. It's better to be in the middle of the size ranges listed I think. Other pants with elastic waist might be more forgiving. I would buy medium again and gamble I don't grow wider, but I might also purchase something with an elastic waste in the future. Read more
I really wanted these to be the perfect pants. Four small issues add up to 4/5. I have a 34 inch waist, and usually buy relaxed fit 33x30, so after reading other size reviews, I bought one pair in large regular and one in medium short. As to fit-- medium fits, but snug, large is like wearing a tent, even with the side adjustments. Also the side (waist) cinches are under a belt loop and difficult to adjust, and virtually impossible to wear a belt with them cinched in. Short is too short for my 30 inseam, long is longer than a 32 inch inseam. The leg cuffs have laces to allow them to be "bossed" onto boot tops, so the excess length is manageable. And bossing your pants to your boots is handy in any case. Perfect pants would have more accurate sizing. So, about half a star off for fit. The knees have double layer fabric. Great feature. If the double laying was about one inch higher and half an inch lower, it would be perfect. The double layering does NOT have an opening at the bottom for dirt release. The weave of the fabric is tight and will likely not allow much penetration, however, fine dirt, sand, and concrete dust will likely accumulate. The cargo pockets are HUGE. So large they are not really usable. For size comparison, you can't quite fit an iPad in them, but you could put two full size 1911s and four magazines in each one (or a small dog). The tops of the cargo pockets are at the perfect height for access, but the huge size means reaching to the bottom of the pocket requires Stretch Armstrong arms, or bending over. The front of the cargo pocket cover flaps are also stitched down. Not sure yet if this is a plus or minus. The rear pockets are "jetted" (internal) instead of "patch" with two button flaps. The buttons are protected by a second layer of fabric, keeping them out of the way and free from snagging. Jetted pockets have a tendency (in my experience) to allow the contents to shift. My wallet wanders in these. The cargo pockets have the same two buttons that are covered. I am buying several more pairs. Until I find a better cargo pocket. Read more
I have a hard time finding any pants that have the right length and fit due to 33 waist and 34-36 leg length. I ordered medium tall and they fit like the tailor made them special order. Keep in mind the bdu pant leg is long if that's what you're ordering. Longer than the size chart says at least in the pair I was sent. I blouse my pants inside my boots most times when hiking or doing things outside and these are long enough that they blouse perfectly and tie off and because of length don't come out of boots. This is my third pair. These cargo pants are comfortable to wear. My job duties require outdoor physical labor and these pants are perfect for getting work done (as well as looking good in the process). The pants look professional at the worksite. Read more
These are my husband’s favorite pants. The regular large has a longer inseam than advertised. They advertise it fits a 32” inseam, but my husband has a 34 1/2” inseam. They fit him comfortably and would accommodate a 35” inseam. Read more
They are legit, like my uniform trousers back the 80's fit is spot on. Love them Read more
These are not the best pants, but you get a little more out of them than what you’re paying. They are fairly durable and comfortable. The length and waist are true to size. Plenty of room in thigh. Quality control has gotten pretty bad the last few years compared to pants I have purchased in the past. The zipper is poorly constructed, so you have to be careful not to unzip it too far or the zipper will separate. I probably won’t buy this style again (I’m going back to button fly), but they are otherwise a decent pair of pants. Read more
