I had a bunch of nostalgic CDs that I wanted to listen to, and this was the most inexpensive CD player I could find. I've had no issues! The sound quality is less outstanding than when I was a teenager and had what was then a state-of-the-art version. As to whether it works while jogging, I cannot say because I don't jog. I was initially excited because I had an old model from this brand it worked really well. Don't waste your time, the skipping is horrible, it stops working mid song. I wanted to start back using physical media, so I bought this CD walkman; I have to say it's not that bad. The battery life is trash; however, I was able to find decent batteries that will make this last up to 6-7 days. The sound quality is great! I didn't use the headphones that came with the Walkman, I used my own lol. The control buttons took some time to get used to; my mom helped. The only issues that I have are that if you make certain movements, the CD will skip, and with CDs that you actually purchased will skip certain songs, making that track unplayable and having to skip to the next song. Luckily, it didn't mess up my Spice Girls CD because I was able to play it through my external CD driver without any issues. It seems durable, but I would rather get a more high quailty walkman over this one, especially one that has anti-skip protection. Read more

So far so good it reads all my cds even the ones I made myself and some that don’t usually play on other systems (vehicles or Sony players). Battery life is awful even copper top batteries run fast maybe 3 CDs per set of batteries. Skips if you hit the table or surface but it recovers pretty well. No complaints as long as you understand that you’re ordering a very basic cd player. I would NOT put this in a car unless it’s going to ride on the passenger seat for maximum stability. Note: I do not subscribe to amazon Prime scam service which has forcibly slowed shipments for everyone else and delivered pathetic tiered systems treating customers as second class.
