Great product - use with backer rod
AirDam is a gun-grade waterproofing sealant that combines the best of silicone and polyurethane properties. This single component, Silyl-Terminated-Polymer (STP) is easy to gun and tool in all weather conditions. Installed as the interior air sealant, R-Guard AirDam creates a long lasting, weather-tight seal that prevents moist outside air from entering, and conditioned indoor air from escaping around window and door assemblies. like super thick caulk and Very sticky
I used this to Air dam the top ridge of my shed...more as belt and suspenders and the exterior had 2 layer of waterproofing so the heavy bead was mostly cosmetic. I also used it under some trim around a window and door. I let it dry before I trimmed out the interior. It takes a lot longer to dry that chalk but that makes sense as it feels much denser.
