Best mats, the quality cushion is amazing. I bought these when my 1st child was 8 months & learning to walk. They were there for her tumbles & very grateful I had these. Now she is a toddler & jumps, tumbles on the mat. I bought 2 & they're great. They stay together even though their is no velcro. I do recommend getting some of those grips to put underneath to prevent sliding. It has been almost a year & it is like new. Easy to clean if any spills, perfect for tall babies & toddlers. We've bought several of these now, and they do the job as long as the interior foam holds. Eventually you will get holes in the exterior, but you can patch those with leather patch tape (my latest one is starting to look like a patch of many colors at this point but it's holding, haha!) When you start feeling the mat feel like it's "lumpy", that's when it's time to break down and get yourself a new one. I opened my last one and it's literally just some packing foam in there, don't do that to your back! Overall, a very good mat for pilates, yoga, weights and other bodywork.
