I'm VERY happy I found this! Slide boards are fun and this one is an awesome quality for the price. It arrived very fast, too. I had to put some heavy books on either end to flatten the curls, and I will say it doesn't do well on carpet, but it's perfect on the laminate flooring on the edge of my kitchen bordering my living room. It stays in place and I can slide myself silly watching tv. Great cardio and leg/glutes workout. I'll be using it a LOT. Read more
I started using one of these at my physical therapist post knee surgery and thought I would get one for home. I purchased the "Pro" version. The first one I got started coming apart in multiple spots when just leaving it out, because the rubber on the bottom is tighter than the plastic. This caused a sort of clipping feeling when sliding over those spots - not smooth. I sent it back and the replacement had the same problem after a few days but just in one spot and not as bad - see picture. I just stand on that one spot for about a minute to flatten it out before I use it and it has been fine for functionality. All in all it does a good job for the price but in the future I would probably spend a little bit more to get something better made. Read more
there are so many $$$ boards out there that are probably more durable, but for 40 bucks this is a STEAL as a first board. if you get this and hate it, you haven't lost much. but if you like it, and it craps out, you can get a nicer one down the road. i am SHOCKED at how good this product is. that said, i have a 100% flat floor to put it on, so i have zero issues. i also have incorporated a TRX, therabands, 2 chairs, and paper towels to create extra safety when using it (i already had all those things so i didn't spend extra money there). I was not going to purchase an expensive high quality slide board, so I opted for this one. I’m able to do what I need to do, but it is kind of cheap quality. It is a good size and is ready to use. You don’t have to assemble anything just put the shoe covers on and start moving. I’ve been on a slide board so I’m able to operate it, but my friend had never been on one and had trouble going back and forth. I’ve had a few knee surgeries and love using slide boards. Read more
Just received my Brrrn Board today. This board is far better than my portable slide boards! Just finished my first workout; I can feel it on my inner thighs! I’ll update again after using it for a few weeks. Read more
I used it several times a week for a couple of months and the only issue I had was that it seemed like there was more friction which required more work to glide. I solved the problem by purchasing spraying silicone on it. Read more
The surface is not very slippery where it allows you to glide across the surface without a lot of effort. I contacted the company for a recommendation and they said they couldn't help and to check a local hardware store. What?? Terrible customer service. I had Reebok slide board years ago that was so much nicer and easier to use. The plastic material that this is made of seems rough and cheap. I would not recommend this product. Read more
Overall, I'm happy enough with the purchase. It's one of those "you get what you pay for" situations. It's a great price for a reasonably solid product. Beyond that, my main complaint is that it doesn't really stay flat at the edges. I've been using it for a few weeks, and there are already quite a few scratches on the surface. It's enough that the friction has increased and I'm looking to buy some silicone oil to slicken it up. Despite that, it still functions just fine. Again, you get what you pay for, but it is good value for the money. Read more
