I made a mistake to order this. I was thinking this more like something to wear it outside, but it is more like a liner. However, I turned out to like it. I just wore it as it supposed to be, under helmet when skiing. It is lightly fleece lined, so it is soft on skin and keep me warm but not too bulky. The outside is waterproof which it is great for snow sport. It hugs me well still with some room for stretching. I lend it to a male friend. It fits him as well. It can be wore in several ways, but it feels a bit tight when wearing on head not on mouth. Other than that it is a nice product. Read more
I purchased this ski mask for my boyfriend, who works night shifts outside the Airport, and it has been an excellent buy. The quality is very impressive—thick, well-made, and durable. It keeps him extremely warm and protects his face from harsh wind and freezing temperatures, even in negative-degree weather. He says it’s comfortable to wear for long hours and fits well without feeling restrictive. This mask has made a big difference during cold nights on the job. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who works or spends time outdoors in extreme cold. Read more
This balaclava is made of a soft, thin fleece material. It keeps your face warm when there's some wind and it's ve try cold out, perfect for walking or shoveling snow when it’s windy or very cold. It stays up on your face. It kept me warm when it was 0F. You can wear glasses comfortably with this on but they will fog up if you cover your nose with this. There's no amount of adjusting to get rid of that. The only way it won’t fog up your glasses is if you pull the top of this down below your nostrils. It fits adults with a small to average head. It gets cold in New England and I like to walk outside. Not wanting my face to freeze, I decided to grab this and see whether it helped keep me warmer. And it did! I love the fit because it doesn't feel uncomfortable or binding. Instead, it's just warm and comfortable when I'm wearing it without being loose. It's soft and warm and has the mouth piece you can pull up or down as needed. It's just so convenient. It's also made really well. I love the material they chose. At this price, it's a steal! 1. Overall Impressions This thermal balaclava works exactly as expected. It’s warm without feeling suffocating, breathable, and very comfortable against the skin. The fit is snug but not restrictive, making it suitable for extended wear in cold conditions. ⸻ 2. Pros (What Worked Well) • Soft fleece-lined interior feels comfortable on the skin • Breathable material that doesn’t trap moisture • Warm enough for very cold weather • Stretchy fabric with good recovery • Snug fit without feeling tight or uncomfortable • Fits larger head sizes well • Suitable for skiing and other winter sports ⸻ 3. Cons (Room for Improvement) • No notable issues so far ⸻ 4. My Experience I found this balaclava comfortable to wear for extended periods in cold weather. It stays in place well and provides good coverage without feeling restrictive. The stretch is balanced — flexible enough to accommodate different head sizes but not so loose that it loses shape. It’s especially well-suited for skiing or really cold outdoor conditions where wind protection is important. ⸻ 5. Wrap-Up (Final Take / Who It’s For) A solid choice for winter sports, skiing, or cold-weather outdoor activities. Warm, breathable, and comfortable with a well-balanced fit. I haven’t washed it yet, but I’ll update this review if any issues arise after washing — if there’s no update, it means none occurred. Read more

I’ll be honest, I don’t think this thing looks much like the product images. Sure, it’s close enough, but the pattern seems to be off. That said, I’ve found this works perfectly for. What I wanted. I go camping a lot, especially in winter, as that way it is the most quiet in the woods. Up until now, I have always used wool balaclavas. And I think the inflation of wool is unmatched, but they can be scratchy and fragile! So I wanted something that would dry easily and be more durable. Enter synthetic materials! Now, the spandex blend here may not be as insulating as wool, but the comfort level is superior. I really feel like a cozy ninja in this. I’d recommend it for anyone going out in the cold but planning to get wet. Read more
Very good fit and comfortable to wear. The material is soft, lightweight, and blocks wind well, which helps on cold, windy mornings. It’s not the warmest option, but it does provide decent protection for winter sports. I do have to pull the mask down when talking or walking fast. Overall, a good balaclava for moderate cold weather. Read more
A very well-made, soft, and warm balaclava. All of the seams are flat-lock sewn except the two up the sides, and those are bound seams - nothing left loose to fray or to irritate your neck. The material is extremely soft - as soft as the Awam (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FP2G47CF) and a bit softer than the Glenslave (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FHW8K23C). It isn't quite as warm as the Glenslave, and definitely not as warm as the Awam, but it will still keep you warm. I wore it for a 9km/5 mile run in 0C/32F windy weather and my cheeks and ears never felt cool. I am not sure that I would call it windproof, but it is tightly enough woven to be very wind resistant. It fits pretty comfortably on me (not loose); my head is 58cm/23 inches around at the forehead, so it isn't for really large people. This will be my go-to balaclava for cold weather down to about freezing; below that I will turn to the Awam or Glenslave. Read more
