It works, they are easy to place and charge fairly quickly. The indicator on the front is nice. Some people complain about it being too bright but it wasn't for me. You could sharpie over the indicator if its too bright for you. Read more

I have another similar charging stand like this but I'd wanted another one for awhile for the other two PS5 controllers I have. This one addressed the two concerns I had with the first charger - charger power (I know I'm on the fringe here but I'm a HUGE proponent of Type-C cables and want *every* small electronics to be Type-C) and charging status. So, these two things caught my eye. The Type-C cable to charge it is great as I'm trying to convert everything in my house to Type-C and refuse to buy any electronics that require a Micro-USB cable or, heaven forbid, a barrel connector. Why? Why would designers still use barrel connectors? I'm an electrical engineer and so I take this sort of stuff personally... The clear charging status is quite nice because you know immediately upon putting on the controller if it made good contact or not and, when it's done charging, the red turns to green and everything is good. I'm not sure why this feature wasn't on the other charger, that was a weird oversight. That being said, as much as I like the clear communication, the images seem kinda low-quality retro. I was debating dropping it a star because of this but that seemed harsh and I have the design/fashion sense of a blind iguana so I don't know how trustworthy my opinion is on that particular item anyway. I do have this sitting perpendicular to my screen so that the light and symbols can't be seen while sitting on my couch but it's easy to see when I'm setting the controllers down to charge and picking them up, which is perfect for me. It works. It charges my controller well. Very simple to use, I just place my Dualsense controller in one of the two slots. It seems pretty well built. Hopefully it will last for years. The LED light indicators on the front are very clear - red means it's charging, green means it's full or no controller connected. It's good to be able to at least show you that there is power going to the charger, but it would be nice to have a gauge to show how full they are. And if it showed a different icon for full compared to disconnected - which are both green. The included USB type-C charging cable (type-C male at both ends) seems pretty thin and flimsy. It's only 39" long, but the charger is designed to sit on top of a PS5, so it should be fine for most users. If you want a better, sturdier cable or longer one to put it further away from your USB port (if you're a PC user such as myself), you can get one for only a few bucks. Read more
